8:30 a.m. St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. hosts Ash Wednesday mass
9 to 9:30 a.m. Moffat County Department of Social Services distributes United States Department of Agriculture commodities at the Community Center in Maybell. All households that receive commodities must be re certified. Picture identification, proof of address and income or current eligibility is required. Call Social Services at 824-8282.
9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Aging Well Program's "Wellness Wednesday" is at American Legion Post No. 62 for individuals ages 50 and older. It includes art, writing and exercises classes throughout the day. Lunch is served at each week's presentation. To register for activities, call 871-7676.
9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will offer free cardiovascular assessments at the Craig VNA, 745 Russell St. They will include a full cholesterol panel, glucose level test and body mass index. Call 846-9855 to make an appointment.

2:30 to 5 p.m. The "Healthier Living with Chronic Conditions" class takes place at the American Legion post, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call the Aging Well Information Line at 871-7676.
5:15 p.m. The Craig Beautification Committee meets at the Craig Chamber of Commerce. The committee will plan spring/summer projects and welcome all newcomers.
5:30 p.m. The Craig Relay for Life committee meets in Room 102 at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane, to prepare for the event's kickoff March 11.
6 p.m. Ash Wednesday service takes place at Friendship United Methodist Church, 700 Barclay. Singles, children, youths and families are welcome.
6 p.m. St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St., hosts Ash Wednesday mass.
7 p.m. The Moffat County High School boys basketball team plays Conifer High School at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane, in the first round of the state playoffs. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students at the door.
7:15 p.m. St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St., hosts Ash Wednesday mass in Spanish.
Thursday, Feb. 26
8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.
