Craig briefs: Master plan meeting Thursday

Master plan meeting Thursday

— Representatives from Stantec, a national consulting firm, plan to host a public meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St., to discuss the city's pending master plan on future transportation developments.

Officials want residents to tell the consultants what issues with streets and sidewalks should be addressed in the future, City Manager Jim Ferree said.

Ferree expects the meeting will be the first of at least three during the company's evaluation of Craig's road and pedestrian traffic conditions.

Residents who cannot make the meeting may submit comments by e-mail or phone to Ferree at or 826-2023.

Ferree also is available to answer other questions regarding the transportation master plan or the upcoming forum.
