The Moffat County Libraries are closed for the holiday.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A free car care clinic for single mothers, seniors and disabled residents is at 1150 W. Ninth St. Volunteers at the clinic will check fluids and top them off if needed, test anti-freeze, air up tires and check treads, check lights, battery connections, horns and wipers and arrange for discount repairs and oil changes, if possible. 5 p.m. American Legion Post 62 hosts a Valentine's Day bingo at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Flowers also will be available for sweethearts. Doors open at 5 p.m. and bingo games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Chris at 824-3085.
5 to 9 p.m. The 14th Annual Art Walk and Third Annual Taste of Chocolate take place in downtown Craig. Call Carol at 824-4580.
6 p.m. A Valentine's Day dinner is at Wyman Museum, 94350 U.S. Highway 40. Tickets cost $65 each and can be purchased at the Craig Chamber of Commerce or Wyman Museum. A limited number of tickets are available. Call 824-6346.
6 to 9 p.m. Gymstar Gymnastics, 400 Mack Lane, hosts a Valentine's Day dance for fifth- through eighth-graders. Parental supervision and snacks will be provided, and water will be available for 50 cents. The cost is $5 per person. Call 824-2282, 629-2883 or 559-285-7572.

4:30 to 7 p.m. Moffat County High School track and field hosts a chili fundraiser at the high school, 900 Finley Lane, during the basketball games against Steamboat Springs. The cost is $3 for a bowl of chili and cornbread.
6:30 p.m. Antique Quilts Guild meets at Sunset Meadows common room, 633 Ledford St. For information, call Linda Pinnt at 824-5219.
6:30 to 9 p.m. The State of the County 2009 event takes place at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Highway 13. Hear the state of the city, county and Chamber addresses, along with guest speakers from the Moffat County Tourism Association, Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership and Colorado Northwestern Community College. Tickets are $40 each and are available at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. Call 824-5689.
