Craig Rotary Club: Thanks to community

To the editor:

The Rotary Club of Craig would like to send a big thank you to the many wonderful community members who contributed to this year's successful Diamonds & Spurs Dinner Dance.

We send special thanks to Brothers Catering for the wonderful meal, Bob and Dee Johnson for taking the lead on decorating, Val Rohrich for the early preparation, Joel Browning of Identity Graphics for the sign, John Bolton and the Moffat County High School jazz band for their help during the event, the Craig Daily Press for the tremendous and prominent coverage, Rich Tyser of Kester Jewelry, who donated a gorgeous pendant, and, of course, all the Craig area community members who attended.

Our proceeds after expenses were about $3,700, all of which go toward our many community and world service projects, including fun books and dictionaries for local elementary students, scholarships for high school graduates and Colorado Northwestern Community College nursing students, worldwide polio eradication, literary efforts, and many others.

Thank you all.
