— An “at-risk” adult man returned safely to authorities Monday after going missing during the weekend.

Anthony Jonathan Logan, also known as AJ, went missing Friday evening after last being seen at Hastings, 2401 North Ave.

in Grand Junction.

A news release stated he appeared “safe, but exhausted,” and officials had not yet discovered where he went or what he did.

Logan’s appearance ended a weekend-long search by Mosaic, an organization that assists the developmentally disabled. The Grand Junction Police Department and Abby and Jennifer Recovery Foundation had joined the search, as well.

Although Logan has been found, authorities still are looking for information about where he went and with whom.

A police review of surveillance videos from Hastings shows Logan spoke to someone in a car before returning to the store, and then he left on foot.

Anyone with information regarding Logan’s disappearance is encouraged to call Mosaic’s 24-hour on-call phone at 970-255-8658 or the Grand Junction police at 970-242-6707.
