Some local storeowners said the holiday shopping season hasn’t been as busy this year as in years past.

All the same, shelves throughout Craig are stocked with the latest in gifts, cookware, electronics and clothes.

Times truly are tough for some residents, business owners said, but they hope people still will come out and see if something catches their eye, or the eye of a loved one.
