Senior Spotlight for Dec. 8, 2009

As the reason for the season gets closer, the air tends to get more electrified with the energy of people scurrying around from place to place.

There are plenty of things to do, and places to go.

Then, when the time comes to take a break, or whatever people pause for, do people stop and thank goodness for what got done?

No, they are too busy thinking of other things.

I have birthdays for Keith Keller, Vannesa Moore, and belated birthdays for Austin Noble, James Noble, Helen Chamberlin, Victoria Danskow, Theda Edwards and Mary Preece.

Get well/speedy recovery to Teresa Rendon, Kirby Barber, Rose Gomez, Sue Thompson, and all of you dear folks in the hospital or at home feeling low.

The deadline for Christmas for Seniors program applications for the gift list is Thursday. Locations are Sunset Meadows I and II, Social Services, and Moffat County United Way, located on the lower level at First National Bank of the Rockies.

The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I. Bingo follows at 1 p.m.

Bring a friend to join us.

News, birthdays, etc., are always welcome. It doesn’t need to be for a senior citizen. We are all neighbors.

Thanks.
