Enrollments are now being taken for the 2010 Moffat County 4-H program year.
4-H enables youths ages 8 to 18 to participate in hands-on projects, attend camps, make new friends, acquire and/or improve their leadership and public speaking skills, and more.

Orchestra and choirs to perform Friday
On Friday at the Moffat County High School, the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra will perform alongside the high school chamber and jazz choirs.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children.
The ensembles will perform a medley of Christmas Carols, including a sing-a-long.
The show begins at 7 p.m.

Tree auction set for Sunday in Hayden
A Christmas tree auction is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Routt County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall in Hayden.
The auction features decorated wreaths, trees and centerpieces created by area youth groups and service organizations.

Book club to review three works Dec. 10
The Craig Book Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St.

Send holiday mail for troops by Friday
The U.S. Postal Service reminds everyone that holiday mail and packages for U.S. troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan should be sent by this Friday for arrival by Christmas. Holiday mail going to other military overseas locations should be sent by Dec. 11.
