The fire did not spread to any other buildings in the area, and no one was injured.

6:50 a.m. The Craig Rotary Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome to attend. Call 826-4444.

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

8:30 a.m. The Moffat County Commission meets at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-5517.

Noon. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association hosts a Grief and Mourning Support & Education Group each Tuesday at the Craig VNA office, 745 Russell St. The group is open to any adult grieving the death of a loved one. Call Neil Folks at 871-7660.

7 to 8 p.m. Intercambio, a free Spanish and English conversation group, meets at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. The objective is to integrate immigrants and locals. E-mail Eveline Bacon at learn@ciiccolorado.org.

8 p.m. A closed meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Closed meetings are only for people with a desire to stop drinking. Call Bud at 824-1793.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults age 50 and older. Options include art, writing, and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week's lunchtime presentation. Register for activities before Wednesday. This event is held at the American Legion Post, 1055 County Road 7, formerly the Shadow Mountain Club House. Call 871-7676 to register.

3:30 to 7 p.m. Aging Well older-than-50 swimming takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7.

Thursday, Sept. 3

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place in the children's room at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St.
