Fuse cutout cause behind Sunday night power outage

A power outage Sunday night in Craig lasted about 28 minutes and was caused by a fuse cutout near Moffat County High School, Yampa Valley Electric Association reported.

The outage occurred about 7:25 p.m., and repair crews responded immediately, YVEA spokesman Jim Chappell said.

Power was out at homes east of the high school, and north of Victory Way, Chappell said. There was no estimate on how many homes were effected Sunday night.

Power was restored about 7:53 p.m.
