Bonnie Weber: River users disrespectful

To the editor:

I guess it's bad no matter where you go.

We live on the river bottom south of town and have had people leave their trash along their route. Plus, they take things that aren't theirs on the way.

So far, it's been a boat, no motor, a two-man raft and they destroyed a barbecue by taking the parts. And people wonder why we don't let them on our land.

I guess they're trading trash for the good stuff.

Just another example of the some of the slobs that live in this day and age. People that have no respect for anything or anyone. Reminds me of a lot of these so called pet owners, especially cat owners. Just leave your junk everywhere and anywhere you are done with it. What a bunch of slobs!

same as pebble beach,,the parrott head club goes through all the trouble to pick up trash clear down to the bridge,,,a lot of time spent by these wonderful people and never the less,,a week later and the same result ,,trash everywhere,,,and as far as these so called humans that have to steal items instead of maybe asking which might surprise them of the answer, maybe someone should leave a nice homemade lunch for them with a little black hinbane on in for taste and it might provide a different result,,,good luck

After over 40 years of sending our kids to schools that teach them they came from a monkey or galactic soup....what do you expect?

I expect them to pick up their trash and take it home with them. Not leave it laying around like the slobs they have proven to me that they are. If they can't do that then they should stay indoors at home, where they alone have to deal with their slobbish messes.
