I have to agree with Carrie Lawton. There are far too many slobs who are using the roads these days for a trash can. The slobbish way these people dump their trash wherever they decide they are done with it makes me sick.
Many of these slobs came to this state to live in a pristine mountain environment. Now that they are here, they insist on trashing it out with their leftovers. In my mind, there is no excuse for this behavior.
Calling them children is a slap in the face to young people everywhere.
I wish one or more of the law enforcement agencies in this area would pick a spot and watch for this littering for a few days on a weekend or two. I believe that if they handed out a few $5,000 or $10,000 tickets for littering, and the story was printed in the paper letting others know what the cost of littering is, I think some of this childish littering would stop.
It never fails to amaze me that someone can carry a full 12 pack of beer or soda into a remote place. But, I guess when the cans are empty they must get heavier because all too many times the empties are left lying on the ground or thrown in the water. Then these same "children" (40-plus-year-old children) who leave their trash all over the place probably complain when someone doesn't come and pick it up.
I suppose they would need their mommies to do that for them, as they are too useless to pick up after themselves.
If you don't like my opinion, I don't care.
