- Brandy and Jake Goodwin, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Toby Ray Goodwin, at 7:30 p.m. July 26, 2009, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 1/4 inches long. His maternal grandparent is Cathy King, of Denver. His paternal grandparents are James and Phillis Goodwin, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Hailey Goodwin.
- Nicole and Ken Hill, of Craig, announce the birth of their daughter, Cassidy Nicole Hill, at 6:58 p.m. July 20, 2009, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 7 pounds and was 19 1/2 inches long. Her maternal grandparents are Katie Thomas and Lew Thomas, of Eastsound, Wash. Her paternal grandparents Ella Hill and J.T. Hill, of Hudson. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Charles.
- Billie Sue and Russell E. Maulding, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Colten Blaine Maulding, at 7:52 p.m. July 30, 2009 at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. His maternal grandparents are Blaine and Sue Bradshaw, of Craig. His paternal grandparent is Francise Maulding, of Belgrade, Mont.
- Rebecca and Ty Kuberry, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Curtis Michael Kuberry, at 3:52 a.m. July 16, 2009 at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Lonny and Martina Curtis, of Baggs, Wyo. Maternal great-grandmother is Velma Curtis, of Craig, and paternal great-grandfather is Josef Curtis, of Germany. Paternal grandparents are Judy and Mike Kuberry, of Craig. Paternal great-grandmother is Marie Kuberry, of Rifle, and great-grandfather Louise Rhodes, of Grand Junction. The baby was welcomed home by his sister, Josefina.

- TMH sets move-in date; hospital to be up and running in November

On Oct. 15, TMH will have ownership occupancy, meaning the building is 90 to 95 percent complete and the hospital can begin to move in furniture and equipment.
The new facility, off of Moffat County Road 7, will open and be fully functional on or about Nov. 12, said Samantha Johnston, TMH service excellence officer.
