The Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, will be hosting a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday. The feature is "The Little Princess," starring Shirley Temple and Richard Greene.
This is a 91-minute feature released in March 1939. The story is about a little girl who is left by her father in an exclusive seminary for girls, after her father has to go to Africa with the army.

VNA offers drop-in immunization clinic
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will host a drop-in immunization clinic from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Moffat County High School. Menactra and Tdap vaccinations will be offered on a sliding fee scale for free to $14 a shot.

Educator seminars to take place Thursday
Dr. Rebecca Dedmond, of George Washington University, plans to host two seminars Thursday about how educators and community workers can better reach young students.
The first, titled "Freshman Transition Initiative Overview," is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon.
The second, "Train the Trainer," is planned for 1 to 5 p.m. This seminar is expected to cover how professionals can better involved parents in their students' lives.
The seminars are open to school administrators, principals, counselors, advisers, the Board of Cooperative Educational Services, transition and swap coordinators, teachers and community partners.

Workshop focuses on planning for the future
The Moffat County Work and Life Skills Coalition is partnering with Craig Middle School to offer a Parents Workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The workshop is designed to help parents work with their seventh- or eighth-grade student to effectively plan for the future.
The workshop takes place at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. The workshop, valued at $50 per person, is being paid for by a grant from Moffat County Social Services. Call 321-7271 to reserve a space.
