To the editor:
This year, several fine individuals have stepped forward to run for Craig City Council. We believe that one of the candidates has unique abilities that can help the council with the tough decisions that may have to be made in the current economy.
Jennifer Riley currently works in the Moffat County Assessor's office. She understands property values, assessments and how those affect local individuals and governments.
If elected, Jennifer will bring to City Council a variety of board experiences. She serves on the Moffat County Retirement board, Moffat County Credit Union board and is treasurer of the Moffat County Libraries board.
Jennifer is thoughtful and puts a great amount of energy into every endeavor she takes on. Her intelligence, common sense and ability to ask good questions allow her to make good decisions.
She is not afraid to take a stand on the difficult issues.
Jennifer has the time and energy to be an outstanding City Council member.
Please join us for Election Day on Tuesday, and vote for Jennifer Riley.

Question of the week
Should the Craig Chamber of Commerce revise its State of the County attendance policy to allow people to hear speakers without paying for a ticket?
