10 to 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Library in Craig celebrates Patriot Day at story time. Come join Miss Trish as she reads about Betsy Ross, designer of the first U.S. flag, President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln.

3 p.m. Voter registration for the November 2008 General Election will be offered at the farmer's market in Alice Pleasant Park. First-time voters and people new to the area can drop by and register. This is a nonpartisan, public service provided by Colorado Environmental Coalition and Friends of Northwest Colorado.

3 to 6 p.m. Farmer's Market takes place at Alice Pleasant Park, 500 block of Yampa Avenue in downtown Craig. Potatoes, squash, onions, garlic, cheese and baked goods are available. Only two markets left. Call 824-5343.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music is performed, and childcare is provided. Late-comers are welcome. Call Caroline 620-0659.
