10 to 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Library in Craig will host Trains and Trucks story time. Come join Miss Christy for a chuggin' and rollin' good time as she reads stories all about trains and trucks.

3 p.m. Voter registration for the November 2008 General Election will be offered at the farmer's market in Alice Pleasant Park. First-time voters and people new to the area can drop by and register. This is a nonpartisan, public service provided by Colorado Environmental Coalition and Friends of Northwest Colorado.

3 to 6 p.m. Back to school at the farmer's market at Alice Pleasant Park, 500 block of Yampa Avenue in Craig. There will be local produce and products. Call 824-5343 for more information.

9:30 a.m. The Northwest Colorado Community Health Center, 745 Russell St., offers school and sports physicals for $30. Appointments are mandatory. Call 824-8233.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music is performed. Childcare is provided. Late comers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 80 E. Fourth St.

Saturday, Sept. 6

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way, and is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Contact Mary Walters, 824-2923.

2 to 3:30 p.m. Julie Jones-Eddy talks about homesteading women and the role they played in the West. She will speak at the Craig City Council Chambers and will be available after the presentation to visit with community members. Punch and cookies will be served. For information, call 824-5343.
