- Katherine Jo Parfrey announces the birth of her son, Troy Allen Parfrey, at 4:21 a.m. Aug. 30 at The Memorial Hospital. The baby weighed 4 pounds, 13 ounces and was 17 inches long. Maternal grandparent is Virginia Parfrey, of Craig.
- Amanda Tomlinson and Russell Hill, Jr., of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Owen Russell Hill, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31 at Yampa Valley Medical Center. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Grandparents are Stephanie and Troy Hampton, and Cheryl and Russell Hill, all of Craig.
