Today is Halloween. Trick or Treat Street, sponsored by Craig Downtown Business Association, will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. along the 400 and 500 blocks of Yampa Avenue and surrounding businesses along Victory Way.

7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Colorado Division of Wildlife is sponsoring a Hunter Education "Crash Course" at the Maybell Community Center in Maybell. No late admittance is allowed. Participants of this course will receive a temporary Hunter Education Card that is good until Dec. 31. This also will be a completion class for the Internet Course. 8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

9 to 11 a.m. Playgroup for toddlers and preschool-age children at the Early Childhood Learning Center,

775 Yampa Ave. (the school administration building). Don't forget to wear a costume. Call Kevin at

4:30 to 7 p.m. Trick-or-treating takes place at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab, 943 W. Eighth Drive. The event is free.

5 to 7:30 p.m. A Chili Supper will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal and Lutheran Church, 657 Green St., in Craig. Cost is $5 or other donation for eat-in or carry-out meals. For information, call 824-2349.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

6 to 8 p.m. Calvary Baptist Church Fall Fun Fest, 1050 Yampa Ave. The event is free.

6 to 8 p.m. Yampa Valley Baptist Church Fall Festival, 3900 E. Victory Way. The event is free.

6 to 8 p.m. Craig Christian Church Funfest, 960 W. Victory Way. Dinner costs $3 per person. Tickets for activity booths will be sold for 10 cents each.

6:30 to 8 p.m. A costume contest takes place at Cugino's Pizzeria & Italian Food, 572 Breeze St. Gift certificates for $50, $25 and $10 will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place winners, respectively. For more information, call 824-6323.

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Ridgeview Church of God Harvest Festival, 690 Riford Road. The event is free.

6 to 10 p.m. The Craig House of Horror, located next to Brass Key Realty on Victory Way, will be open, with no-scare hours from 6 to 7 p.m., and the normal haunted house hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. Cost is $5 for all during no-scare hours. During regular hours, cost is $5 for students and $7 for adults.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 80 E. Fourth St.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups, in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare is provided. Late-comers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Cassidy's Lounge Halloween party takes place at 300 Colorado Highway 13. There will be a costume contest with cash prizes, and live music will be provided. Cover charge costs $5. For more information, call 824-4000.
