The Craig House of Horror will be open Thursday and Friday evenings this week. No-scare hours are from 6 to 7 p.m., and regular hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $5 during no-scare hours, and $5 for students and $7 for adults during regular hours.

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Love INC will distribute free coats at Sandrock Ridge Rehab Center, 943 Eighth Drive. Anyone who needs a coat can get one, regardless of income. Only one coat per person per year. Parents may get coats for their children. For information, call 826-4400.

10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Public Library holds story time in the children's room. This story time will focus on harvest time as leaves are falling, seasons are changing and gardens are being harvested.

6 to 10 p.m. The Craig House of Horror, located next to Brass Key Realty on Victory Way, will be open, with no-scare hours from 6 to 7 p.m., and the normal haunted house from 7 to 10 p.m. Cost is $5 for all during no-scare hours. During regular hours, cost is $5 for students and $7 for adults.

7 p.m. A free weight loss group meeting takes place at Holistic Health & Fitness. The group will meet on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Bring a notebook and journal. Call 824-4700.

8 to 9:15 p.m. Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous' open topic discussion meeting is at 50 S. Ranney St. Call 888-333-9649.

Friday, Oct. 31

7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Colorado Division of Wildlife is sponsoring a Hunter Education "Crash Course" at the Maybell Community Center in Maybell. No late admittance is allowed. Participants of this course will receive a temporary Hunter Education Card that is good until Dec. 31. This also will be a completion class for the Internet Course. 9 to 11 a.m. Playgroup for toddlers and preschool-age children at the Early Childhood Learning Center,

5 to 7:30 p.m. A Chili Supper will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal and Lutheran Church, 657 Green St., in Craig. Cost is $5 or other donations for an eat-in or carry-out meal. For information, call 824-2349.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

6 to 8 p.m. Calvary Baptist Church hosts a Fall Fun Fest at the church at 1050 Yampa Ave. The event is open to all ages, and all events are free. For more information, call 824-5222.
