8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Colorado Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Schaffer meets with Moffat County residents at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The event is open to the public.

9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Aging Well Program's "Wellness Wednesday" is at American Legion Post No. 62 for individuals ages 50 and older. It includes fitness, tai chi, lunch and CNCC classes throughout the day. This week's presentation is from Teresa Wright, Region 3 Healthier Living coordinator, about the upcoming Healthier Living class that starts Nov. 10.

9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tatiana Achcar, Integrated Community executive director, will be at the Craig office, 745 Russell St., to offer materials written in Spanish regarding Election Day topics in preparation for the Nov. 4 general election. Call 824-6424.

2 p.m. Colorado Blue Ribbon Panel hosts an open community forum on the state's transportation problems at Craig City Hall, 300 Fourth St. State officials will present findings from the Governor's Blue Ribbon Panel on Transportation and ask for residents' feedback.

3:30 to 7 p.m. 55 and older swim is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County road 7. Call 824-2923.

6 p.m. Free adult fall soccer is at Woodbury Park. The only equipment participants need to bring is a water bottle. For information, call Bill Sawer at 824-0116.

6:15 p.m. Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Bingo takes place at the VFW's upstairs room, 419 E. Victory Way. For more information, call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

Thursday, Oct. 30

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat CR 7. Call 824-3625.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Love INC will distribute free coats at Sandrock Ridge Rehab Center, 943 Eighth Drive. Anyone who needs a coat can get one, regardless of income. Only one coat per person per year. Parents may get coats for their children. For information, call 826-4400.

10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Public Library holds story-time in the children's room. This story-time will focus on harvest time - leaves are falling, seasons are changing, and gardens are being harvested.

1 to 5 p.m. Love INC will distribute free coats at Sunset Meadows I and II, Ledford Street, in Craig. Anyone who needs a coat can get one, regardless of income. Only one coat per person per year. For information, call 826-4400.

6 to 10 p.m. The Craig House of Horror, located next to Brass Key Realty on Victory Way, will be open, with no-scare hours from 6 to 7 p.m., and the normal haunted house from 7 to 10 p.m. Cost is $5 for all during no-scare hours. During regular hours, cost is $5 for students and $7 for adults.
