Jerry Bartholome: Obama questioned

Obama questioned

To the editor:

It was extremely disappointing to listen to three presidential debates and observe how the three moderators had so carefully screened the questions. There are numerous questions on subjects of grave importance to our nation that were never asked. One of those is Obama's attitude and agenda towards the Second Amendment.

Obama will tell the TV cameras he is an advocate of the Second Amendment, but his voting record in the Illinois Senate is quite the opposite. He voted for a bill that would ban nearly every hunting rifle and shotgun and supports a complete ban on handguns. He has voted against legislation in Illinois that would allow a homeowner to use a gun in self-defense in the home. The Web site, gunbanobama.com, exposes his real anti-gun agenda.

When the subject of Acorn was brought up by McCain in the debate, Obama wouldn't explain his connection. Since Acorn is under investigation for voter fraud, Americans need to know just what Obama's relationship is to Acorn. A simple search for "acorn" on the Internet will reveal probably more than anyone wants to know.

Also, it seems strange how the Obama campaign can amass such record-breaking contributions in such a perilous economy. Wonder where it's all coming from. I think he should "spread the wealth around" to the McCain campaign.

Iraq wasn't doing whatever they felt like Patrick. Yes...they had always pushed the envelope of containment...but if this country would have been in a reverse role..we would've pushed to the limits and sometimes over the limit. But the fact still remains very clear. Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 or of national security issues.

You do know however...and since McBush is still barking out that the Iraq war is "STILL" a war on terror...that 10 weeks before 9/11......10 weeks Patrick....that Dufus Bush questioned the agenda of a staff meeting with then National Security Advisor Condi Rice...when the containment of Saddam Hussein was the answer....Dufus Bush, with his usual BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN VALUES TALK, blurted out...." _ _ HUSSIEN!!! WE'RE TAKING HIM OUT!! 10 weeks before 9/11 Patrick. You fill in the 4 letter word Dufus used.

There's nothing that can be done to retract the events of the Iraq war. Except to get the hell out of there!! It's a war that this country can no longer finance. This war of profit.....say....to this day, you do know that Cheney still will not tell who was in his famous Energy Meeting. You know...the meeting where (AND THIS DID LEAK OUT!!) Cheney laid out a map of Iraq and had this country sectioned out to each of these attendants of this meeting...for the extraction of crude oil. These are true events Patrick. These are not fabricated by some notion my brain is warped by the use of Mary Jane. I don't even drink booze Patrick. Gave that up a long time ago. Unlike Dufus Bush who claims to be Born Again and lies and boozes it up still to this day.

John McBush is a scondral Patrick. He really wasn't even a good jet pilot, though I'd say he was better than I was...but I've never piloted any kind of aircraft before. McBush has this notion that he deserves the Oval Office.....Listen to his B.S. I've served this country most of his life. SO!! So that makes him deserving the executive office and so by rights...Obama hasn't been like him? Sort of a twisted concept actually. McBush doesn't have the temperment nor intelligence to serve as president. Let alone the health to boot!! And if elected and McBush dies...JESUS A. CHRIST...THEN THERE'D BE SARAH PALIN. PUKE!!! Too notch Republicans are fleeing McBush's campaign just because of Palin. They know she is anything but a person that can fill the position of V.P. That's a fact Patrick that you cannot deny.

Bottom line...enough of this. I'm finished with this discussion. It's pointless and doesn't change the facts that Jerry Bartholome nor Lynne Herring or any of the other opinion writers have tried to pursued others to be AFFRAID!! SCARED!! BEWARE!! But not any substance of facts that are true.

is that really all you care about....guns?? i'm sick of hearing people talk about guns. where are your sources. obama IS for the second amendment. just more strict laws and regulations. and as for your last comment...why doesn't mccain contribute his own money, he owns 7 homes, he should be able to afford it.
AND, acorn is under investigation primarily for REPUBLICAN voter fraud...what's that got to do with obama?? as for the craig daily press...you sure are publishing a lot of one sided editorials aren't you?? can't wait until our election day is over... my gosh.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

To com mentor Gem.

You got it!! What you see with most opinions published...is that the Republicans are running scared! As to why? It's simply a matter of ideology and indoctrination of views by the Ultra Right by the likes of Rush Limbaugh...Bill O' Reilly...Shawn Hannity etc, etc, etc.

As to the methods....as always these last few decades the GOP has nothing but fear as a tool to try and pursued the populace that anything other than a Republican is sure to send you straight to hell in a flash!! Pretty childish actually, but it seems to work.

I've heard just about all the lies about Obama...Muslim...Terrorist...Socailists...Coward...Racial names....Half Breed....Ghetto Boy and on and on and on. The recording of Joe Biden stressing that within months of a Obama presidency, this country would be tested...what the Republicans left out in that discussion Biden had, he also said that Obama had steel in his spine and would stand tall and unmoved. THAT WASN'T WHAT THE REPUBLICANS WANTED TO BE LET OUT!! AND THEY LEFT OUT THAT PART OF THE SOUND BIT ON PURPOSE FOR THE FEAR FACTOR!! And there are those that call Obama a coward??!!!!! Pretty damn pathetic and again...childish acting.

It seems like it's over already. Insider GOP personnel have leaked enough info that even the GOP knows that it's over. Some have even pressed to pretty much stop spending money on McBush and Palin and start using whats left in cash for Congressional seats. FACT!!

So...don't worry....your guns are safe. These firearms are not gonna be confiscated and crushed. What these Right wing people do not understand is..this current administration is a far more danger to gun ownership than what they feel Obama will bring. You know...the Patriot Act? And the way this current administration has committed crime after crime, with the ideology of total domination of the world...a better word would be a totalitarian government.....whose more likely to take you guns??!!!

These are the issues that the Right wingers won't talk about...because...the Republicans are to be feared for the policies they seem to so deeply embrace.

Fascinating to watch.

misterkindbuds 5 years, 5 months ago

I believe the vote Jerry was talking about refers to the city of Chicago, not the state of Illinois. Chicago has had - and will continue to have - a ban on handguns.

As you can see, that ban is completely ineffective.

Obama voted to tighten controls on gun ownership in Chicago, not remove them from your hands in Montrose.

I own four guns (one handgun) and am not worried about either candidate taking them.

It is important to have guns ... as long as they are in the hands of the right people.

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

Do we really want some one in the white house, along with a liberal congress, who says he chose his marxist college professor friends carefully? Do we really want a spread the wealth around president? Do we really want a president who believes the Constitution of the United States of America is "fundamentally flawed"? If so then vote for the guy who is against gun ownership.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Wait a minute. Liberals scream about government and how government should stay out of their business when it come to abortion. Even though the rest of us do have to deal with other peoples irresponsible decisions in the form of social programs. Other people drag the rest of us into to their problems.

Now you understand how I feel about guns. Some idiots commit crimes and normal people who aren't breaking the law get hurt and lose rights. It all comes back to personal responsibility. These people in or society are causing hell for both democrats and repubicans.

0

Neal Harkner 5 years, 5 months ago

Now that it appears the Democrats are going to take over both the legislative and executive branches, Republicans are coming out of the woodwork to scream "Checks and Balances!" Where was that concern when Republicans had the same control from 2003-2007? I believe the attitude then was "stuff it." Shoe's about to be on the other foot, now, and it doesn't feel so good does it?

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

It's not the same shoe. The republicans have not had a filerbuster proof senate or house. Putting on the marxist shoe because the media is all ga-ga over obama isn't the same shoe. A marxist in the white house and a marxist leaning congress is un American.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

Patrick Patrick Patrick. You must come to grips with the fact, that the current administration not only shoved a shoe up the behinds of Americans. AND BROKE I OFF!! You know damn good and well that these criminals holding the Executive office took this country into a war of opportunity for profit. The Iraq war had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 and/or national security!! With all the hoopla about Obama being a appeaser...the news today is that General Petraus has come out and bluntly stated that this country had better start talking to the Taliban in Afghanistan...or that war will also be of no gain security wise. What was all the slander against Obama for if people that "KNOW" what the hell needs to be done is lining up with Obama's recommendations?!

As far as Acorn goes....uh...McBush has also been involved with that organization by attending and speaking to this group as well. So uh...is McBush guilty just as Obama is? Speak up on these points I've pointed out Jerry Bartholome. Let's not forget who still beats the podium about the Iraq war and how it was a just and needed war. It wasn't....it was a war that Cheney and his inner group of buddies agreed to a doctrine called.."The Project of the New American Century". A doctrine adhered to and followed and you see how that has worked out. Greed...simple greed was the motive behind this ideology of a world dominance by this group, under the disguise as a patriotic endeavor for national security.

Herman Goering stated it best. The Third Reich's ideology destroyed Germany...the same basic ideology has started this country down that same path. AND YOU CRITISIZE AND SLAM OBAMA??!!!!

ABSOLUTLEY FASCINATING TO SEE DECEPTIONS EFFECTS ON PEOPLE!!!

0

gumby424 5 years, 5 months ago

Hey Patrick, How's the last 8 years with the GOP in control worked out for you? Remember the Clinton years, when we all propsered and we didn't finance a war to our childrens children at the tune of 10 Billiion a month? WOW, that could fund alot of social programs right here in the US. Now we have a failed economic system, thanks in part to too little regulation. With one third less FBI agents to go after white collar criminals since 2001, no wonder we're broke. Bush/Cheney helped out there pals at Enron, Haliburton etc. And your worried because our future presiendent has taken the time to study and understand many different points of view? Sounds to me like some poeple need to broaden there horizons and get there news from other sources than Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

I don't know wether to cry or laugh. It's past the time to go into why we are at war. I suspect perhaps the stuff you've been smoking the last eight years has left some gaps in your memory. Iraq had broken their treaty with us and was doing what ever they wanted. Plus when I left, they had WMD's. You would have been laughed out of every counrty in the world if you thought other wise, including Iraq. Setting up a democracy in the middle of that mess was, and still is a good idea.

0

Neal Harkner 5 years, 5 months ago

emery - Is a Marxist congress any more or less American than a party that believes our highways should be sold to multi-national corporations and converted into tollways? Is it any less un-American than a party that rewards foreign outsourcing with tax breaks? Is it any less American than a party that wants to build massive superhighways from Canada to Mexico with the express intent of using Mexican ports and Mexican truck drivers to deliver goods throughout North America, putting American stevedores and truck drivers out of work? The Republicans are no more American than the Democrats.

0

gumby424 5 years, 5 months ago

What does victory in Iraq look like? With three religious factions fighting over control, please don't fantasize and say a democracy. Even McSame hasn't answered this one yet. Though he wants to keep spending.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

I know alot of you watch Keith Olberman. He has brain washed you into thinking Bush lied about the war and Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terrorism. For all our sakes I hope Obama has a deeper understanding and grasp of military matters then the people who have been posting here. Just like we attacked Germany instead of Japan in WW2 tactics have to be drawn up. Decisions have to be made on how to go about fighting the enemy. Bush picked Iraq to be the ground to fight on. It sucks in all the radicals in the region where they can be disposed of in a nice and neat way. It also ended what was going to be another unending problem that was just left unfinished. Like North Korea. Plus, a win would cause all kinds of problems for the enemy. A problem they would be forced to deal with just to have any more credibility. Bush picked the ground to fight on. It was a good choice, and it kills the leftist in this country. People in other countries can't figure out why in the heck half of our country can't see that. I give you Kieth Olberman. Sorry, the facts are way to solid on this to be spun. Facts the whole world agrees with, ecept our own media.

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

Neal, i did not say that democrats are un American. Being a marxist is un-American. And by the way i am an independent. I do not agree with outsourcing. I do not agree with law that move jobs out of our country. i also do not agree with what we produce, goods or services, not being competive. If jobs leave because we can not compete on the world stage so be it. If jobs leave because the ohter parts of the world susidize the compettion then i have a problelm. if jobs leave because our own laws, ie tax breaks, damn thats wrong too. cantstandtexans...what gives you the right to critize a pilot when you admit that you have never piloted any aircraft. Navy pilots are the best in the world bar none..i am amazed that your anger at the mess Bush has created spills over to others and you would opt for a marxist. MCain has proven he will put the country first...obama has proven he is for the "from each acording to his ability to each acording to his need" karl marx...clearly you believe the oboma propaganda machine...some republicans bailing out of their party means nothing, some democrats are doing the same. MCain's temperment is fine, i would rather have a person in the white house who has chosen his fellow countrymen over self than a person who has "chosen his marxist friends carefully". i actually wish Hillary was running, but sexism in Ameirca stopped that. By the way to all of you his name is not Georg Bush, his name is John MCain...if you had half sense and one eye you might see and under stand...

Dear ebear. McBush is a grumpy old washed up NAVY PILOT THAT CRASH SEVERAL JETS BEFORE GETTING SHOT DOWN OVER NORTH VEITNAM!! I have every damned right to criticize the old bastard. I don't give a ripped damn what you think of me or my knowledge about 9/11. Your beliefs that 9/11 or the Iraq war are justified...according to McBush...still doesn't make the invasion of Iraq just war. THE IRAQ WAR WAS A BOGUS...STUPID....BANKRUPTING ENDEAVOR BY A BUNCH A FASCIST PIGS THAT HAVE HELD ONTO A IDEOLOGY OF WORLD DOMINATION!! EBEAR!! JESUS A. CHRIST!! Your views about other commentors is irrelevant

And Patrick....if you think I obtain my knowledge about the issues from Kieth Olbermann and MSNBC ONLY...you are very mistaken. Oh hell yes I like to watch MSNBC and Kieth Olbermann. But if I like a good laughing session...I get a kick watching the idiots on FOX NOISE NETWORK. You know...Bill O'Rielly...Shawn Hannity....Brit Hume...God...talk about human feces flowing out of the mouths of these fascist propaganda ministers!

And uh ebear...your assertion that Obama is a Marxist is really pretty...shall I say...DUMB!! Yes...that's the word. I suppose that you believe that Sarah Palin is a true blue American..even though she believes in a independent Alaska as does her drunken husband Todd. No you say? Palin is a true Marxist if you want to call someone that. Remember....she bragged about her sharing the wealth from oil revenues and so on under her watch. Collectively sharing the wealth. Yes sirree!!!

I've always been amazed how people can support a political party that promotes fascism from a central power. Granting the ultra rich the right to become more ultra rich as the money trickles down the backs of the forgotten American worker.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

And to further this...your blatant statement that if AMERICAN JOBS GO OVERSEAS BECAUSE YOU CLAIM THAT WE AS AMERICANS NEED TO HAVE WAGES CUT AND BENEFITS CUT AND WORK LONGER HOURS AND HAVE HORRIBLE WORKING CONDITIONS AND WATCH THIS COUNTRY GO COMPLETELY BELLY UP BECAUSE THE GOD DAMNED INSIDER TOP GOP REPUBLICANS HAVE DOOPED YOUR MINDS INTO THINKING IT'S O.K. TO TRAMPLE OVER THE LESSER INCOME PEOPLE...WELL THEN EBEAR.....I'M CALLING YOU A WORTHLESS NO GOOD ECONOMIC TERRORIST NOT WORTH SPIT!!! IT SHOWS YOUR CONCERN FOR A SOUND AND SECURE AMERICA THRU A STRONG ECONOMY BY EMPLOYING...."AMERICANS"...BRIGHT BOY!!!

TO THINK THAT ANYONE WHO WAS A TRUE BLUE AMERICAN THAT BELIEVES IN A FREE AMERICA WOULD EVEN SUGGEST THAT IT'S OF NO CONCERN IF THIS COUNTRY REVERTS INTO ANOTHER THIRD WORLD STATUS COUNTRY! IN OTHER....EBEAR!!!....YOU ARE MY ENEMY!! YOU ARE A FASCIST AND HONESTLY...NOT VERY BRIGHT!!!

So...go vote your conscience intelligent ebear. You're not an American...you call Obama a terrorist and a Marxist. I call you a fascists. of WHICH...YOUR SPEECH BETRAYS YOU!!! AND McBUSH IS STILL A WASHED UP NOT SO GREAT OF A NAVY PILOT. It's obvious that his selling out to the old GOP guard is proof enough that he is senile and needs to just go away!! Think McBush made a great decision on choosing Palin as a running mate? I don't think he had any choice to tell you the truth. What a damned joke of a person Palin is. Of course...I bet you think she's just grand!!

Fascinating!!

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

And Patrick...I don't give a damn about what you think either. You're 100% wrong about Iraq. That's very simple to see just by reading your return comment. Iraq was a war of ideology for world dominance by a bunch of fasicst pigs that couldn't give a rip ass damn less about the men and women who died in Iraq. The then Assistant of Defense Paul Wolfowitz...(WHO DREW UP THE DRAFT DOCUMENT CALLED...THE PROJECT OF THE NEW AMERICAN CENTURY!!)...was ask one day how many Americans had died in Iraq. Response? "Oh...around 300". It was over 600 at the time this question was ask of this NeoNaziCon fascist. AND YOU AGREE WITH THE WAR IN IRAQ AS A WAR THAT IS JUST AND GOD DAMN THOSE MUSLIMS...KILL THEM ALL?! What kind of logic is that?! I ASK YOU...WHAT KIND OF INTELLIGENT LOGIC IS THAT?! THAT IS AN ATTITUDE THAT MEMICS DUFUS BUSH'S ASSERTION THAT HE IS THE DECIDER!!

I'm not so sure what you mean by plans were drawn up to attack Germany instead of Japan. If you mean landing in France and bombing the hell out of Germany first. Well....you need to go back and start from the beginning and events leading up to WW2. Two front wars are a very risky business to venture into. It's called...logistics Patrick. Even though the "Sleeping Giant" was awaken by Japan on December 7, 1941....there wasn't the hardware to invade Japan and Germany at the same time. That doesn't mean that the Japanese weren't getting kicked really hard. But you're assertion that war in Iraq was a tremendous victory for America.....you're getting information from a biased ideology from the Right wing spin doctors. That assumption couldn't be further from the facts.

You speak of North Korea. WHAT ABOUT IT! There's a dictator that needs killing. But it offers no monetary benefit for the few that wanted war in Iraq. HELL...WHAT THE DOES NORTH KOREA HAVE THAT SOMEONE WOULD WANT?! OIL??!!! I ask you again...why won't Darth Vader Cheney explain his infamous ENERGY MEETING where this fascist laid out a map of Iraq and had it sectioned off to each of these Energy Boys?! If the war in Iraq was a just war...why did the criminals in the Executive Office have to have their minions produce lies and distortions and fabrications for a cause of war in Iraq...claiming that Saddam was gonna kill us all?! AND YOU BELIEVE THESE LIES AND SUPPORT THIS WAR?! For what reason could there have been for this unbelievable boondoggle...in other words....how stupid were these worthless fascists that promoted the Iraq war and then tried to enact vengence on those that openly questioned the truths behind the real reasons?!

It's a matter of time now Patrick. There is gonna be a changing of the Guard in Washington D.C. Anyone that says Obama is a terrorist or a Marxist or a Muslim, and on and on and on....I actually have pity on them. They have been lied to and they have bought into these lies totally.

I cannot say this in any other tone.

0

Holy Cow, Cantstand, you need to take a breather and back off a bit. No matter what you think of how things have gone on in the last 8 years, each and everyone of these people are entitled to their say too and I think they are doing so without cussing at everyone! I will be SO glad when this is all over with!!!

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Check your blood pressure CST. I can see your red face through the internet.

I like that part about muslims and kill them all. I'm not that bad yet I hope. I believe in freedom for the muslim world. That will be the only true peace over time.

I do like reading your stuff though. Don't stop writing just because Obama loses on Tuesday.

I'll try and write you more later.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Hay guys, did any of you catch Obamas prime time add of promises. You know the add he paid for by braking his promise on taking only public funds and not private ones?

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

Obama is not a Marxists...why do you continue to say that ebear?! Let's just get to this fact. With gridlock in D.C. because of them verses us'n and us'n verses them'n attitude...with a control of both the Executive branch and the legislative branch of the federal government....the Democrats are exposed and very transparent. I'm gonna say that here is the grandest opportunity for the Democrats to finally prove that things can get accomplished and that they indeed do have the best policy for this country. It's up to them now to prove it.

Worst part about this is....the almost 11 trillion dollar national dept that is, shall I say, fantastically unbelievable?! I want Dufus Bush and his puppet master Cheney to be held accountable for all the lies and corruption these two, along with others, carried out using the flag of national protection. I'm still not convinced that anyone can enact any kind of policy that will pull this country out of a deep pit that is almost sure to push this country over the edge into a massive depression...or at the least...this country splitting up into several independent countries. Most economist are telling us that this crisis is just getting started. Have you noticed that gun sales are up around 10%? It's not for fear of guns being taken...it's for survival, neigbor against neigbor, or an entire community...such as Craig...locking down on any outside intruder looking for deer or elk, antelope for food. THESE ANIMALS....are a major food source if not the only food source for this community, if stuff hits the fan.

Yeah..I know..people call me an anarchist at times. It sure goes against the grain that there are those that call me a full blown Liberal. I called this housing collapse and the ultra billions that would simply evaporate...5 years ago! It happened. I see the national collapse coming. I hope I'm wrong. That is why I support Obama. It's called....intelligence on his part. Not that Obama has a magic answer...but it's called...intelligence and the ability to collectively place options together with a cool controlled emotion. McBUSH is simply too old and too mean spirited plus, with the same GOP old guard at the controls with that damned trickle down Reaganomics attitude....well...you seen what the last eight years has gotten this country into.

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

cantstandtexas how can you not admit obama is a marxist...he has demonstrated it over and over in his associations and his behavior by voting more liberial than hillary...i agree with you we are on the edge of another great depression...and the cause lies with both political parties and them not reiging in spending and corruption...by the way a calm cool no emotion approach is the path of all socialpaths...i agree the old guard gop sucks...i was concerned when bush began picking these guys for his adminnstration...but i disagree tha McCain is part of that group...i do believe he is a maverik...what bush has done is not even close to Reaganomics...far right wingers will get into a shooting war faster than you can blink...far left will talk till they are run over...both are wrong...my problem with obamania is the blind faith of the media and elctorate...a similar blindness that kept them from examing bush's reasons to go into irag until it went badly...if obama had articulated a solution that made sense to me i would listen all i see is a potential dictator...if you want to get rid of grid lock in dc then fire them all and get some new blood, two four year term limits for the house and two 7 year limits for the senate...no pork...no lobyist... a national flat tax of 10% for everyone no deductions...no deficit spending...states get a 5% sales tax...if your able to work but won't you can starve...if you can't work either mental or physical then local people take care of their own...if you can't prove your a citizen then you can't vote...everyone has to serve the country for two years...reinstate the draft...you can serve in the military or peace corps or other form of service after high school or college, but everyone male and female, two years...and eliminate the commodities market, if you want to gamble go to vegas with your own money...we do something about the 16000 murders that will happen each year and i don't mean gun control...we go after the gangs in our own back yard...oh yea no uniforms in public schools and dodge ball is legal again...

Did you see Obama's program on TV last night? It was all about what he is going to do as President. Not ONE mention of McCain in the whole half hour! Then, first thing this morning McCain goes off on Obama's "Infomercial". I haven't seen McCain or Palin lately when they weren't dissing Obama. Running scared? YEP!

ebear, if you call Obama a marxist one more time I think CST's head will explode.

0

Neal Harkner 5 years, 5 months ago

Both candidates support economic policies that cause redistribution of wealth, so when I hear a talking head on the right scream that talking point I need only remind them of just how much "trickle down theory" has helped the ultra wealthy in this country.

The net change in average pay, adjusted for inflation, from 1980-2007 is around 30%. CEO pay over that same period has increased by 300-400%.

Why doesn't trickle down theory work? The market. The average period between boom & bust in our system is about 4-5 years historically. When the economy tanks, everyone retrenches. When it starts to pick back up, people recoup their losses. Only after they've regained their momentum do they begin to invest in earnest. Wealth doesn't begin to trickle down until well into a boom cycle, right about the time the economy begins to tank again.

So sling the phrase Marxist around all you want. The equivalent epithet on the right is Plutocracy.

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

Rationalize all you want about taxes and trickledown...McCain did not seek out marxist college professors carefully to be his friends...i have a huge problem with that, as well as obama's in your face lie. obama's corrupption has taken place right in front of our faces...obama sighned a letter pledging to take public money for his campaign untill he got corrupted by the money thrown at him...no character. If he had a message that would work he wouldn't have to out spend with a in his pocket media...

0

Neal Harkner 5 years, 5 months ago

Emery - It's not rationalization, it's the truth. Trickledown has not worked. Could it work? Sure, if the market cycles were 15-20 years, but they're not and likely never will be. I agree that Obama's got some shady characters in his past, but McCain's former campaign co-chair, Phil Gramm, has direct ties to both the Enron collapse and the financial meltdown.

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

Neal-thats the problem they are all dirty...McCains got some dirt on him too..obama's swimming in the sesspool...

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Ebear, that corruption line was great. Obama is buying this election thanks to his lie. He's spent six million to McCains 84 million. If he wins I think with this kind of advantage it isn't even fare. The best man may not win.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Here's a thought from my wife Jennifer. Jennifer said "Wasn't the revolution over taxes?". "Yes" I said, "That and the British took their guns." They weren't even good guns.

Sounds familiar. Hey, if I don't think capitalism is working for me can I just go to someones house that has more than me and take it? Ya know, marxism has never worked in any country. The closer we get to it the farther down the ladder the poor will fall.

Heres a thought on government health care. If there's not enough doctors now, what will happen to waiting times in the future if Obama gets his way. Maybe it will be like Canada where you have to wait 9 months for heart by pass surgury. Oh, wait Obama can just force people to be doctors.

"Change you will be forced to live with."

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

FYI..heres how trickledown works...part one

-20 million new jobs were created during the Reagan presidency (U.S. Statistical Abstract)

-Of these 20 million new jobs: -The average hourly wage was $10/hr. -46.1% were over $28,048/yr, and another 46.2% were from $7,012-$28,048/yr, while only 6% were under $7,012/yr.

-During the Carter administration (1977-80), of the new jobs created, 41,77% were under $7,012, 68.2% were in the $7,012- $28,048/yr bracket, and 9.9% of the pre-existing jobs in the $28,048 and up bracket were actually lost (Joint Economic Committee, based on data from Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor)

-During Reagan's presidency he decreased the tax rate of the richest quintile from 70% in 1981 to 31% in 1988 (Joint Economic Committee, 1990)

-In 1981, the beginning of Reagan's presidency, the top 5% of wage earners paid 35% of federal income taxes, while the bottom 50% paid 8%. By 1988, the end of Reagan's presidency, the top 5% paid 46% of the federal taxes, while the bottom 50% paid 6% (Joint Economic Committee, 1990)

-Inflation went down during Reagan's time in office. In 1980 the CPI (Consumer Price Index) was 13.5, and in 1984 it dropped to 4.3, and eventually to 4.1 by 1988. (Economic Report of the President, January, 1993)

-Middle class families earning between $20,000-$50,000/year had a 28% growth in net worth during Reagan's time in office (National Review, April 18, 1994)

part two..The government brought in increased amounts of tax revenue from the highest economic quintile during the Reagan Years (55.7 bill. In 1980, 55.9 in 1985, 58.1 in 1989), while the lowest quintile (2.0, 1.9, 1.6) and the middle quintile (13.4, 13.1, 12.6) both gave increasingly less during those same years (Congressional Budget Office)

-The U.S. Congress outspent Ronald Reagan's proposed budget every year he was in office, save 1984 (Budget Message of the President, FY's 81 to 89)

-The national deficit was approx. 2.6% of the U.S. GNP when Reagan entered office, and only 2.8% of the GNP when he left (Congressional Budget Office)

-The Stock Market rose from 777 to 3,000 points during Reagan's presidency, even after the crash of 1987. (Almanac of U.S. History)

-Both Michael Dell (Head of Dell Computers) and Cypress Semiconductors CEO, T.J. Rodgers agree that it was Reagan's decrease in government regulation and taxes that allowed computer and electronic entrepreneurs to thrive (D'Souza, Ronald Reagan:p. 125)

now to be honest i don't think youv'e got 40 - 50 % to cut anywhere in taxes...the cut is in and has been since Reagan...that is part of why bush's tax cut hasn't produced...couple that with wall street and corporate gangsters robbing us all and dems forcing fanie and freddie down our throats, oh don't let me forget the speculators in commodities...and no one willing to regulate because we are all to high from the profits...the bubble has popped and its down hill for a while, wether you like it or not...

If McCain is the right man, why aren't his rich buddies giving him tons of money for the campaign?

Back to another comment - the one about pork. All these ads about who voted yes or no on this or that - we all know that these were mostly things tacked on to the end of some other bill. Why can't we demand that all issues voted on by state or national legislators be one item only? That would end pork.

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

Rainbow...McCain signed on to public financing...limitiing him on money...his party can take donations which they have...the idea was the playing field would be more even...obama signed on but the at the last minute back away because so much was pooring in...and you are so correct about pork...essentialy what politicans do is to buy our votes...no pork and term limits we might get representation that acutally works...

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

Yeah...the rich paid higher taxes under Reagan...because the money went UP THE LADDER! Under most situations...jobs always increase under any presidentcy because of general population increase....even under Bush #1 and the glorified depression back towards the end of his presidency.

Let's not forget that under the Reagan years...the federal dept began to skyrocket upward. So...the federal dept before Reagan was consistently static, the feds investing in infrastructure for a stimulus to the economy, and workers payroll taxes would repay this money, since for every dollar spent on infrastructure creates 10 dollars. It's just the way it is. But under Nixon...the dept started it's climb...under Reagan...the dept shot up 3 trillion dollars. 3 TRILLION DOLLARS!! Under Bush #1...it rose another 1 trillion. But then Bill came along. Higher taxes yes...the dept leveled out and I hope everyone will remember that the economy was really hot in those eight years. And let's see...there was a war over in eastern Europe under Clinton and if I'm not mistaken...there wasn't a massive invasion needed. Air strikes only. Worked out pretty good eh?

Point is...ebear...you're bragging about Reagan. Let us not forget the Iran Contra issue where the Reagan administration was importing/selling dope on the streets of America and taking the profits and buying munitions for the....OH THAT'S RIGHT!! THE TALIBAN!!! IN AFGHANISTAN!!! And good ol' Oliver North sitting on all that cocaine in a military transport flying back from....OH YEAH!! NIGARAGUA VIA NORIAGA!!! Yeah...that's it!

You're bragging about criminals ebear. Reagan and his trickle down economics and his demented idea that deficits didn't matter. Reagan had Alzheimer's disease and the staff and insiders hid this from the public. Under the law (So when do Republicans give a damn about the law?!) Reagan was to be removed because of his inability to fulfill the office of the President.

These are the facts ebear. Reagan wasn't such a great president. The money flowed upwards....and has under the last 3 Republican presidents.

And again...your persistence that Obama is a Marxists....if he was...and he is not...and he won't take away citizens firearms....would it be any worse than the fascists sitting in the Executive office as I type? And yes...the Cheney Administration, yes, the Cheney Administration (Who do you think is really in charge!!) are a bunch of fascist pigs.

Your Reagan clotting is in vain.

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

CST, some times the stuff you come up with and then pass off as fact scares me. Do you really believe Reagan was selling drugs to the inner cities, ie black population?

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

cantstandtexas...funny how i gave you facts and you call it bragging...must be nice to able to ridicule the truth...and how fun to attack success...i see you have not responded to how i think and what i think about bush and politicatins in general..i have acutally attempted agree with you on some issues...but alass you seem to want a fight rather than solutions...the economy was hot under clintion till the ipo bubble poppped...no it would not be any worse than who is in office now but i'm not ok with how it is and McCain is not bush...on second thought obama would be worse he is a marxist.

0

emery bear 5 years, 5 months ago

ok on giving it so more thought calling obama a marxist could be a stretch...if i give him the bennefitt of all my doubts i see aleast a marxist want-a-be..ie...chosing marxist professors(teachers) as friends..."i want to spread the wealth around"...far left liberal voting record... for me it raises red flaggs...no punn intened...

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

I wonder if Obama catches Bin Ladin if he will give him a pardon. Heck, maybe he'll have dinner with him at the white house. He's had dinner with the American terrorists.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

One other thing. The reason the inner cities are so bad is because of people like Obama. People who tolerate behavior like that of Ayers is pathetic. If someone like that lived in Craig we would see to it justice got done one way or another. He would not get off in a jury trial, nor would our judges let him. We might complain about some sloppy DA work, but he would still go away. Our jurries and people know our justice system may be imperfect, but by no means and no matter what are we going to live next door to trash like Ayers, and Resco. Or be friends with Khalid, Wright, and Faricon.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

And just when I thought you had common sense Patrick.

As a matter of fact....PATRICK.....The Reagan administration was indeed importing huge amounts of cocaine into the U.S.A. Oliver North was documented as having to sit atop pallets of cocaine on some of these transports for lack of anywheres else to sit on the flight back to the Good Ol' U.S.A

It's very apparent that you have not indulged yourself into this historical but well suppressed facts! The Iran Contra scandal. While the American taxpayers and citizens being subjected to the Gestapo tactics of the DEA...AND PAYING HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO SUPPORT THE FASCIST STORM TROOPERS....the Reaganites were supplying extraordinary amounts of "White Powder" to the streets of inner city areas. But did they give a damn? HELL NO! After all...all that was living in these inner city areas were Worthless Blacks and such!!

I will say this again....there is no room for John McBush and his bobble head bitch Sarah Palin. Now there's a white supremacists for ya...Sarah Palin. GET A ROPE!! For those that believe her FECES LAIDEN MOUTH!! Worthless bitch she is!! And she calls herself a patriot and Country First!! Yeah...what country? The independent country of Alaska?!!

There will be some very interesting times ahead if John McBush gets elected....oh...I mean put into office by more shenanigans from voter suppression and Diebold. Remember...Diebold PROMISED the 2004 election to Dumbass Bush. You know...that lizard lipped idiot YOU call your president? He's not my president. Never has been.

What I do hope for is this. After Obama becomes president...I hope criminal trials begin for Dufus and Cheney. PLEASE LET ME VOLUNTEER TO PULL THE HANDLE AT THE GALLOWS!!!!! I won't charge a God damned dime for my services!!

1) Financial crisis (tech stock bubbles 2000 - 2001) 2) Attack on U.S. soil (9/11) 3) Global catastrophy (sunami) 4) American catastrophy (Katrina) 4) Skyrocketing oil prices 5) Outsourcing of American jobs (corporate america & NAFTA) 6) China's emergence as world power 7) Two front war (one justified, the other just well overdue) 8) Banking crisis

Can anyone think of a president in the last 150 years other than Roosevelt and Lincoln that maybe had to deal with more during their presidency than Bush?

0

Neal Harkner 5 years, 5 months ago

AltitudeAdjustment - Oh boy here come the revisionists already and the guy isn't even out of office yet.

Bush and the Republicans SUPPORT outsourcing.
They have no problem with the outsourcing loophole that rewards companies who ship jobs overseas with corporate tax breaks. McCain isn't talking about repealing it, only Obama is.

The two-front war was also George's own doing.

China emerged as a world power thanks in large part to our love of cheaply-made Chinese crap.

The banking crisis was helped along by members of his own party (Phil Gramm, especially) who voted to allow unregulated trading of derivatives and credit default swaps.

Bush will go down in history as a resolute bumbler. A guy who stuck to his guns no matter how stupid they made him look or sound.

0

AltitudeAdjustment 5 years, 5 months ago

I am not saying he has done a great job, I only challenged people to find a president that had to deal with more in their presidency than Bush did.

99% of American's supported both the war in Afghanistand and Iraq. Now people use the excuse, "we were lied to" about WMD. If he didn't go after Iraq the same people would be complaining about why he didn't and how he didn't go far enough.

Our banking crisis was 20 years in the making. Bad policy existed for a long time. You don't see the impact of it until the economy has a hiccup.

Outsourcing was a bi-partisan push that culminated in NAFTA. Yes american greed for cheap crap is what created the problem and corporate america just gave the poor masses what they wanted.

Is GWB an idiot? I have little doubt to the fact, but that is what they all said about Reagan in his closing months and 20 years later our liberal media ranks him as one of the best presidents in our history (you can look that up on your own). I am not saying that GWB will be considered anything more than what he is, but much of what he is is do in large part to our media's portrayal of him. Simple fact of the matter, if the internet information super highway existed with Jefferson he would have been impeached, if CNN existed in 1943 Roosevelt would have lost WW2 and Truman would have been prosecuted for war crimes, if television hadn't been in 90% of the households Kennedy would never have been elected in 60 because he had week policies and no experience, but he could talk a good line of BS (sounds a lot like Obama).

So I still ask the simple question - Name a president in the last 150 years besides Lincoln and Rooselvelt who dealt with more during their presidency than Bush? Yes he has had bad judgement and we can all see that, but that is the Monday morning quarterbacking in each of us and time will likely never tell us if the war in Iraq was the right decision or not. One thing we know fore sure is that in seven years we haven't been hit by a major terrorist act of aggression, so each of us can draw our own conclussions on that matter.

Tuesday all Republicans will be drug tested before they vote. The Democrats can wave their drug test by voting on Wednesday.

Hay hippies, don't get in the wrong line to vote. One line has drug testing.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

AttitudeAdjustment.......first...you are asking a question that cannot be true. You are asking what president. Dufus Idiot Bush is a mere puppet president. The Cheney Administration is the presidency that needs comparing to.

I'll ask you this question. What president has been the most criminal and subversive more than the Cheney Administration?

Answer? There is no comparison to this current bunch of fascist that occupy the Oval Office.

What presidency compares to the lawlessness and treason more than the Cheney Administration?

Answer...THERE IS NO COMPARISON!! The current administration must be brought up on treason charges for the idiotic and ideology of a world domination totalitarian dictatorship!!

The GOP staged a bloodless coup back in the 2000 election. That is well documented but again...well placed back on the suppression burner. Besides that...who has been in the drivers seat these last almost eight years? Kind of hard to press into investigations when you're calling the shots on the entire operation! YEAH?!

Patrick....you have not answered my comment to you. Have you indulged yourself into the law breaking activities related to the Iran Contra Scandal and the Reagan Administration? This administration indeed conduct drug trafficking activities for weapons purchases for the arming of the Taliban fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan. How many thousands of lives were lost because of drugs here in the U;S. and the drug wars in central and South America vying for the supply of cocaine sold to the U.S?! And..thanks to the Reagan Administration...the Taliban were elevated to the ruling and control of Afghanistan. And then there's this Iraq problem that a direct relationship with the Reaganites giving full support to Hussein because of the ongoing war between Iraq and Iran. THANKS A HEEL OF A LOT BONZO REAGAN AND THE LIKES OF RUMSFELD AND COMPANY!!

So you see Patrick...there's much blood on the hands of the Republicans. And uh...you're slamming Democrats with alleged drug use. You don't want me to get into the drug use by rodeo cowboys and their republican beliefs...I know! I was there rubbing shoulders with some top name hombres!! Do you drink Patrick? Any booze in any form? If you do...you're a drug addict!! Simple fact. And uh...I do not consume booze in any form....period!! Nothing!

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

No, I don't drink. Not that I wouldn't like too, I just can't get permission from my wife.

Anyway Craig, remember all that talk I go on and on about how environmentlists and how they can shut an area down? Well, Obama has been heard saying, "You can build a coal power plant but you'll go broke."

Well Craig, we had a good thing going, but it looks like it's over now. No need to worry about amendment 47 now. Good luck freinds.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

I couldn't sleep and I watched tv and heard Obama say those things himself. He also said under his plan energy (electric) will sky rocket. Great a game changer, only the truth is coming out way to late.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

Not true...not true...not true...simply ot true. What Obama said was that coal plants simply need to be clean coal technology. The Republicans are accusing the San Francisco Chronicle of "HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT" the supposed radical comments about coal fired power plants. I hope you weren't getting this info from Fake News...a.k.a......Rupert Murdoch's False News Channel?! Again....what you are suggesting about coal is 100% untrue.

Now....let's talk about job losses to other countries because corporate America simply wants more money. Supporting tax breaks for companies that hire and employ AMERICAN workers and face down the Chinese and the Indians over unfair trade practices...such as China's continuing to artificially devaluation it's currency to keep Chinese products cheap...Obama has already stated that this WILL change! Hell Patrick...the European Union has already faced down the Chinese over trade. And guess what?! The Chinese play by the European rules!! Trade imbalances are evaluated every three years and any indifference in this balance will be accessed very high tariffs. AND IT WORKS!!!

Things MUST CHANGE Patrick. But the lies spewing out of the mouths of the Right wing propaganda ministers is simply foul smelling feces. Exaggerations and twisted comments. Even John McBush a couple of times forgot that he sold out to the GOP Old Guard and stated that you don't need to be afraid of Obama. REALLY???!!!! YOU DON'T MEAN IT JOHN McBUSH!!! Well....he said it because he meant it. A moment of truthfulness. Mr. McBush should have stuck to his own game plan. He might have won....and of course...he wouldn't have chosen "The Bobble Headed Bitch Palin!!

So Patrick....stop. Just stop! I despise the Feds just as much as the next person. But after these last eight years of corruption by the Cheney Administration....do you really believe that Obama will be even more corrupt? Obama for one has intelligence...unlike Dufus Bush. And a cool head...unlike Darth Vader Cheney!!!

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

That's good CST. I'm going to stick to my opinion though. It's all over but the crying, and maybe 3 years of alcohol relapse followed by one year of rehab and preparations for 2012's election. Just kidding, I'll just lay curled up in the fetal position for four years.

You must be as excited as a hippie getting his first marijuana prescription. In 48 hours you'll have a perma-smile that will last for four years. Well, I want to be the first to congradulate you if Obama wins. So look in on Wednesday. I'll do it then if we know for sure. But be warned, I'll be all over him when he screws up.

Anyway, have a good election and good luck.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

Gez Patrick....Best of my knowledge..some of the biggest dope smokers I know of are very conservative politically wise. And the biggest whore mongers!! You can't stereotype a person because of the length of his hair or color of skin or social upbringing. As I pointed out in one of my comments...the smoke was always rolling out of many a horse trailer at rodeo's and team roping's I participated in. And I'm not referring to tailgaters and the Barbeque's smoking!

So.....there's plenty of rope down at the local hardware stores....this country has been destroyed socially and economically by Bushonomics. You know...let's get more filthy rich at the expense of the security of the country. And the criminals in the White House question others patriotism because the accused questioned this current criminal administration? Pretty pathetic Patrick...pretty sad that anyone would even believe the Republican Party after these last eight years!!

Get off the dope trick....I don't smoke.....anything.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

I didn't mean you CST. I was just making a joke. If people want to take offense then they can. And I don't care which party a doper belongs to, I wish none of them would vote. I believe a person should live in reality before they go around screwing it up for those of us who live in it.

Anyway, how was you're voting experience? Was there alot of people? I voted early so I don't know.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Oh, and one other thing CST. I don't know what your rope comment was supose to mean and I don't want to. I don't want to hear talk like that. I heard a person yesterday say this. "If a congress with a 9% approval rating and a black man are going to take our assualt weapons away the can think again. This time we'll give them to em bullets first."

My point is this. We all need to calm down. Who ever wins we need to give them a chance. Violent talk gives people on the edge the belief that they have support. There is way to much hate right now. Now is the time to vote. Don't condem anyone for things that haven't happened. I say that to everyone.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

P.S. I don't even want to get into how stupid racist comments are. On the mater of who made that statement. It was one of three guys standing outside of a store. I don't know which one said it or who any of them are. I'm sure all of us have heard bad things like that said this year though. If Obama wins, things like that are sure to happen more. The hate for any President grows and grows over time. Obama will not be immune to this, and some people with attack the first and obvious physical difference as a way to express this anger. Like people say, that fat bas@#%, or that that skinny bi@#%. It's all the same, week thoughts and little thinking.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

CST, Congradulatins. I'm glad it's over with. I hope things get better all over. Let's hope he keeps his promieses.

0

cantstandtexans 5 years, 5 months ago

So do I Patrick...so do I!!

As far as the rope comment...I was referring to most of the people I work with/around. Some calling me Comrade etc....I just smiled and reminded them of just how great these last eight years has been for this country. That comment seems to bring them down to earth....for a while. One guy was playing the Russian National Anthem this morning over and over and over and over. The Big Cheese finally came out to the shop area and told this feller to and quote....KNOCK THAT _ _ OFF!! ONCE WAS ENOUGH!! Damn...you would of thought that guy had just been gut shot this morning.

I'm hearing the belly aching as well...I truly believe that there isn't gonna be a firearms ban...I personally will stand and fight if that happens. Yes...I'll loose...but at what price will the feds want to pay? Looking at the big picture Patrick...the Dems know full well they gained power by a honest vote...it can just as easily take power away. Isn't it great!!! The power of the vote has finally showed itself...a fair...unaltered voting session. The shenanigans pulled off by Susan Harris and Jeb Bush and Karl Rove & Company in Florida in 2000 and the Diebold capers in the 2004 elections, I believe, will never be allowed to happen ever again. Paper trails...simple paper trails seems to have stop that B.S. for good.

So Patrick...take no offense with me. I'm looking forward for a better tomorrow for this country. There can be no other course or this country as a nation will fail. That scenario is not as far fetched as one might think. And I really do not want that to occur.....BUT....NEVER EVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN. No one dare try and disarm America physically or by some stroke of a pen. THAT is when stuff will hit the fan. As I have always insisted to me brother..."If the feds have firearms....we damned sure better have them as well!!" He never disagrees with that belief!!

Peace.

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 5 months ago

Peace as well. I have talked to alot of people today that are freaking out. I say give him a chance. Alot of people hated Bush before he got elected and I think that hate hurt our country. If Obama does a good job I'll vote for him next time.

I was teasing a little bit on the other story site. Giving dems a tast of what it felt like to have your guy attacked wether he does anything wrong at all. Also, how it feels to have everything in the world blamed on your guy. It's not right. I will only do serious stories about serious mistakes that Obama does make.

I heard alot of talk about God and how could he let this happen. I had to defend Obama on the war in that area. I don't want to ever believe God wants war to go on and on. How do we know that maybe God might want this thing to wind down? My point is this. Let's not use God as a club on Obama because he wants less war. I think there is more to be done, but I'm not draging God in as my justification.

But so far I'm just watching. A little joking but mainly just watching, and hoping. Heck, I may leave him alone altogether if he trust me enough to stay away from my second amendment rights, all of them. Everything else we can change back if the people want to later.

But ya "peace"

Refering to "Gem" comment on Obama being for guns.

You are another idiot in the bunch, just another idiot. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise or they are being nice to you, and being a sincere liar.

Obama has voted against weapons and ammunition in every aspect you can imagine. He is not for guns and will not be for guns. He wants to ban your rights to own them, and even raise the taxes sky high so that buying guns will then be such a chore, such a task that you wouldn't venture out to buy another gun ever again. That does what you ask? That hurts the gun stores in general and eventually with minimal to no sales the gun stores faulter and they die off. His plan works by way of just raising the taxes and not neccesarily taking your guns from you. He controls it without looking like the bad guy, yet accomplishes the same goal. You Democrats just cant think for yourselves, that's the damn problem here.

As for "CantStandTexans" .... jesus. You must be a female. Just the.... ah nevermind it! You are a true Democrat with no feet to stand on just like this "Gem" character above your post. You think the Republican party would take away guns before the people who are VOTING AGAINST GUNS? How does this make sense? Are you high right now? Seriously I wanna know what all you Democrats smoke in the morning to figure out how the world works cause it's really tripping me out.

Joe Biden is AGAINST guns PERIOD. Obama is AGAINST guns PERIOD. Obama is currently THEE biggest anti gunner in history. You know what history is right? It's that word you morons keep spouting about Obama getting into office. Why is it history all of a sudden? Its because he is black on the surface. He's a mixed man, both white and black yet no one see's mixed skin, they see black skin. What's the first thing you see in a person, their looks or their brains? Easy question so go figure that people see a black man and therefore it's "history" all of a sudden because a black man is in office. How about who gives a damn, its not supposed to be a racial thing but a SMART decision on who can lead the coutnry the right way, the non socialistic way.

And yes he's a socialist, just stop saying that redistribution of wealth is not socialism because you all clearly cannot read.

Sincerely,

A really overly sad for this country because there are too many effing idiots kind of guy.

Chris, I herd several things on this gun issue. Some say he will some say he wont. (including his web site). By the 100 day mark it will be so clear the nation made a big mistake I don't think he will get any red democrats to vote for gun bans. We'll see.

P.S. Where's my check? Why do I still have to pay my bills? And why hasn't he gotten Ben Laden yet? It's his fault we are hated in the world. Why is unenployment so high. He said he could fix it. He liked the bad economy when it worked in his favor. .....We need change!

Ha Ha, I'm just kidding for now.

As soon as 100 days go by and he doesn't fix half that crud, then I will call him out on it.

i dont imagine anyone on these forums will see any ban on guns in there lifetime,,i could be wrong but doubt it,,if your so worried..start stalk piling like many already have and get ready for yourself and mainly your families..more than any..we need to weed our town of drug dealers and most of all the over the border scum drug dealers???

0

Patrick Germond 5 years, 3 months ago

Freeman, Surely the Democrats wont mind me holding Obama to his words and promises. I will not deal in hate, however, he better not mess up. I will point out all his miss steps as well as his successes.

Also, I expect my life to be better in 100 days than it is now. Surely the media, and Obama didn't over hype this whole "change" deal. Or are they trying to say after they got elected that change will have to wait a few more years. I thought it would be faster, oh well. Or maybe they can't deliver it at all. Humm, I guess we'll see.

Good luck Obama.
