Early voting for the Nov. 4 general election begins today and lasts through Oct. 31. Registered voters may cast their ballots at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder's Office inside the County Courthouse at 221 W. Victory Way.
The office is open for voters from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Residents also may vote by requesting a mail-in ballot. The Clerk and Recorder's Office will mail a ballot to a voter's address as long as the request is made by Oct. 28. Residents also may pick up a mailed ballot in person at the Courthouse through Oct. 31.
The Clerk and Recorder's Office must receive all mail-in ballots by 7 p.m. Nov. 4 or they will not be counted. Ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but are not received will not be counted.
Voters also may vote on Election Day, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following vote centers:
• Centennial Mall in Craig, 1111 W. Victory Way
• Maybell Community Center, 103 Ellis
• Dinosaur Town Hall, 333 S. Stegosaurus
Red Ribbon Week continues

An episode of the Discovery Channel program "Dirty Jobs" featuring Villard Ranch is scheduled to broadcast at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the Discovery Channel.
