Excellent coverage

To the editor:

Just a note to thank the folks at the paper for the excellent coverage of our Cowboy Action Shoot on Sept. 27. John Vandelinder and Hans Hallgren took the time to come out to the range and see what our sport is all about. John even joined us by participating in Stage One of the match, and he shot it very well! Thank you for the article regarding our club and the fun we have out at the range.

We'd like to invite anyone else who would like to try their hand at Cowboy Action Shooting to come to our "Open Range Night" from 5 p.m. till it's dark Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Bears Ears Shooting Range out on County Road 7. We will have numerous "cowboy" guns for you to try and even a stage setup to shoot. Eye and ear protection also will be available. Come and see what all the fun of playing "cowboys and cowgirls" is all about.
