Closed. Moffat County Libraries will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

1:30 to 3 p.m. Preserving the Last Frontier meets at Sunset Meadows, 633 Ledford, second-floor conference room. This month, the group will discuss favorite places in Northwest Colorado. Bring photographs. Everyone is invited to attend. For information, call 824-3108.

6 p.m. The 2008 Parade of Lights happens, sponsored by the Craig Lions Club and Downtown Business Association. Floats will leave from Craig Middle School, head north on Yampa Avenue, turn left at Victory Way and head west to the finish at Centennial Mall. This year's parade theme is "A Centennial Christmas."

6:30 p.m. Hayden Parks and Recreation will hold its Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 25 W. Jefferson Ave. (Highway 40 across from the U.S. Post Office). Hot cocoa and cookies will be served. All are welcome.

6:30 p.m. Holistic Health & Fitness Center is hosting a healthy potluck exchange at its 420 Breeze St. location, where dishes and recipes can be exchanged. For more information or to RSVP, call 824-4700.

7 p.m. The Daughters of the American Revolution will present Saed Tayyara with the Americanism Medal, given to naturalized Americans who have shown exceptional leadership and patriotism.
