Christmas trees galore

A few finished trees sit in the greenhouse, waiting to be purchased. Meckley is keeping eight different types of trees on hand this year, and he offers free delivery and setup in the Craig area.
Bob Meckley cuts an inch off the bottom of a tree before it is mounted in a stand. The trees are displayed in water, which Meckley says is very important in maintaining longevity.

It's that time of the year again: the day after Thanksgiving.
Christmas decorations line the streets, and shoppers have been out since dawn getting a jump-start on their shopping.
But few things mark the Christmas season quite like a Christmas tree.
Bob Meckley, owner of Tunies & Such at 690 Yampa Ave., is hard at work getting those trees ready to be taken home.
