I will not be writing this column next week, but I will return the week after that. My family and I are traveling to Naturita for the Thanksgiving weekend. Whether you are traveling or hosting friends and relatives at your home, I hope your holiday is filled with good times and happiness this week.

Style is in Style at Stlyz 5th Avenue in Craig. Formerly named KnezOvations, Stylz 5th Avenue has taken on a new name and a new look at its same 535 Yampa Ave. location in downtown Craig. Owner and Nail Technician, Sherrie Knez has owned the salon for 11 years and wanted to capture a new theme of "New York Nights."

In addition, she says that their mission is "You've seen the rest, now come experience the best." Judy Wilhelms, receptionist, is ready to set an appointment for you with one of four stylists, Lisa Davis, Amanda Wright, Rachelle Germond or Heather Overton. Wilhelms also will take your appointment for one of three nail technicians, in addition to Knez, Alyssa Fineran and Jeannine Griffin.

Stylz 5th Avenue is a place where you can buy Christmas gifts for any female on your list this year. They offer a full line of brand name cosmetics, including Provano and Chi. According to Knez, "they will always send you out feeling better than you did when you came in." To contact Stylz 5th Avenue, can call them at 824-0341 or visit them at the shop.

If you missed redClay Designs and Gifts grand opening celebration this past Saturday, you will have plenty of opportunities to visit them at their 300 W. Jefferson location in Hayden.

Cindy LaDue and Sarah Chaney are going to be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday to assist you with your purchase.

LaDue says, "We offer western stuff made by local people in Northwest Colorado."

Many items are available including baby items such as bibs, diapers and blankets that are created by LaDue. Other items include candles, cosmetics, pottery, jewelry and soap, all of which are produced in the area. You can visit redClay Designs and Gifts at their location or call them at 276-1317.
