8 a.m. to noon. Craig Workforce Center will host an open house at 480 Barclay St. for "Keep Colorado Working Day." Find out about the services available at the local work force center. For information, call 824-3246.

Noon. The Hayden Chamber of Commerce will hold a riboon cutting at redCLAY Designs and Gifts, 300 W. Jefferson St., for the shop's grand opening in Hayden. A book signing with local photographer Jim Steinberg and author Susan Tweit will follow. For information, call Cindy at 276-8104.

5 to 6:30 p.m. Jim Steinberg and Susan Tweit will discuss their book "Colorado Scenic Byways" at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. Colorado Scenic Byways is a visual tour of Colorado with wonderful descriptions and tips for travel. Call 824-5343.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
