The frost was on the pumpkins and just about everything else. When I was a child, Jack Frost would come. He left some real pretty pictures on the windows, pinched our noses when we went outside and made the grass sparkle like it was scattered diamonds.

I like to see what else Jack Frost has done, so now I look out my apartment window - no frost right now and the grass doesn't look so sparkly. I don't go out much, but yep, baby, it's cold outside. Time to get out the mittens, hats and heavier coats.

It's time for birthdays. This week, I have Arron Brown, Edwin Noonan and Diane Malone.

Get well/speedy recovery to Elberta Cochran, Stella Johnson, Kathy Wells, Jennifer Mann, Merle Moore, Garin Barnett, Joseph Robbins, Elizabeth Amick, Dan Brauch.

No lunch Tuesday at Sunset Meadows I, in honor of Veterans Day.

The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I. Bingo will follow.
