November 6, 2008
The National Honor Flight Network announced the formation of a hub in western Colorado. The goal of this Western Slope Honor Flight group is to make it possible for WWII veterans and their caregivers to go to Washington, D.C. and visit the WWII Memorial and capital. This includes a free flight, meals, overnight accommodations and motor coach services while in D.C.
This office has applications for the vets and their care providers if the vet is unable to travel alone. The date for the flights is May 1. Contact me ASAP.
