- Patrick Germond: Liberals losing touch with reality
- May 30, 2008
A little light, please. Reality has taken a holiday. We are paying $4 for a gallon of gas. And what does the liberal elite do? Shut down oil exploration in Alaska by declaring the polar bear threatened. Never mind the misuse of the Endangered Species Act, to place an animal on it that is thriving. The total disconnect at the cliff America is heading toward is what should scare us all. A liberal friend of mine told me that I quit drinking coffee and driving my SUV the rest of the world would have more. I don’t think that’s what’s wrong with Haiti and Africa. What is wrong is skinny Kenny and starving Stan steal everything any farmer tries to grow or that’s not nailed. There is a complete lack of civilization in other parts of the world. What these countries need is a sense of community, father and son events, town meetings and such.
