8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9 to 9:30 a.m. USDA commodities are distributed in Maybell at the Community Center. Families that received commodities must be recertified each year. Picture identification, proof of address and income or current eligibility is required. Call Social Services at 824-8282.

6:30 p.m. First Congregational Church and Integrated Community present a free family film series celebrating diverse cultural heritage in Craig at First Congregational Church. This week’s feature is “In America,” presented in English with Spanish subtitles.

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time is at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries. This week’s theme is Dogs and Cats.

5:30 to 8: 45 p.m. The Northwest Co­­lorado Energy Producers Asso­ciation dinner meeting is at the Holiday Inn of Craig. Guest speakers are Jim Sims and Western Business Roundtable. Cost is $35. Register online at www.fuelingthought.com.

6 p.m. A benefit dinner and auction will be held for Tanya Bohrer, who has been diagnosed with melanoma, at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. 7 p.m. Choir, Band, Theater Awards Night at the high school.

Friday, May 16

A fundraising, all-you-can-eat spag­hetti dinner for the Bad Dog wrestling team is at Calvary Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and can be purchased from Bad Dog wrestlers or at The Furniture Gallery of Craig, 385 Ranney St. Call 846-7284.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups, in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare is provided. Latecomers welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.
