The Moffat County High School Rodeo Team traveled to Pueblo on April 26 and 27, competing with reduced numbers because prom was the same weekend.
Junior Eric Fleming skipped prom, placing fifth April 26 in bareback and fourth in steer wrestling.
On April 27, he earned seventh in bareback.
The team competed Saturday and Sunday in Henderson.
Fleming took third in bareback on Saturday, winning $30.
Junior Taylor Vernon earned 10th place in breakaway on Saturday and fourth Sunday in pole bending.
Vernon earned $97.50 throughout the weekend.
The MCHS rodeo team competes this weekend in Eagle, the closest rodeo to Craig during the spring rodeo season.
Baseball team all-conference selections
The Moffat County High School baseball team — co-Western Slope League champions — had seven of it’s players named Tuesday to the WSL all-conference team.
Seniors Chris Winder, Jordan Williams and Anthony Flores, and junior Seth Lanier were named to the first team.
Senior Josh Satterwhite, junior Eric Leonard and freshman Ben Williams were named honorable mention.
