Craig — To the editor:
In reference to the letter from Mr. Cris Criswell, which appeared in the Daily Press on April 30, and to other letters posted in the Daily Press’s online forum, we need to remind the community that the Humane Society of Moffat County is a completely independent organization and has nothing to do with the Humane Society of the United States.
The mission of the Humane Society of Moffat County is to serve the unmet needs of pets and their owners in Craig and Moffat County.
The Humane Society of Moffat County is not involved in any way with the DOW/elk situation or any other law enforcement issues.
