The Moffat County High School baseball team won two of its three games played this weekend in Olathe and Montrose.

Friday in its season-opener against Berthoud in Olathe, MCHS scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Indians, 10-8.

Junior starter Seth Lanier picked up a no-decision in his five innings of work, striking out five and giving up two runs. Senior Chris Winder picked up his first victory of the season in relief.

On Saturday morning, the Bulldogs lost, 7-2, to host Olathe High School, then traveled south to defeat host Montrose High School, 8-6.

Moffat County (2-1 overall, 0-0 league) travels to Arizona to participate in spring training.
