• State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership is offering three scholarships totaling $10,000 to sophomores, juniors, or seniors who have an article published about tobacco prevention. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline for spring is May 10.

• The Charter Fund is offering need based scholarships to students who exhibit the ability to succeed in college. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application or log on towww.piton.org/charterfund. Deadline is May 2.

• The National Commission for Cooperative Education is offering several multi-thousand dollar scholarships to students planning to attend certain COOP schools. Log on to www.co-op.edu for an application.

• The Colorado Society of Mayflower Descendants is offering two $500 scholarships. Log on to www.coloradomayflowersociety.org for an application. Deadline is today.

• Colorado Education Association's Ethnic Minority Advisory Council is offering four $1,000 scholarships to ethnic minority, high school seniors whose parent or legal guardian is a member of CEA. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is May 1.

• Colorado Association of Legal Support Staff is offering one $1,000 scholarship to an eligible student who is pursuing a degree in the legal field. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 15.

• DECA'S National Advisory Board Companies are offering several scholarships to DECA students. See Paula Duzik at the high school or Paula Schenck for a book of scholarships. Deadlines vary.

• NRC Broadcasting is offering monthly scholarships to seniors of $1,063. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Start applying now.

• Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc is offering the Bob Piper Construction Education Scholarship worth $1,000 to students interested in the construction field. 2.0 GPA requirement and two letters of recommendation. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is March 31.

• Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association is offering two $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in the water environment field. Log on to www.rmwea.org for more information and for an application. Deadline is May 1.

• Pinnacol Foundation is offering scholarships to students whose parent has been killed or permanently disabled on the job. Log on to www.pinnacol.com/foundation for an application. Deadline is March 31.

• Chadron State College is offering a scholarship to students majoring in education equal to one half tuition for eight semesters. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 15.

• CNCC and Lucille Bogue/Tayyara is offering two $500 scholarships to students entering CNCC. Students must read the novel "Miracle on a Mountain." See Paula Duzik at the high school for more information. Deadline is April 11.

• Xcel Energy is offering a $500 scholarship to one graduation senior who plans to attend a Vocational School. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is May 1.

• The Cibrowski Family Foundation is offering a scholarship to students interested in the field of chemistry or engineering and plan to attend DU or School of Mines. This is a renewable award. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 15th.

• St. Michael Rosary and Altar is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a senior who is an active member of St Michael church. Applicants need to have a recommendation from one of the Fathers as well. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 18.

• The Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club is offering two $750 scholarships to seniors. Preference will be given to children of members. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 23.

• RBC Dain Rauscher Colorado Scholarship Fund is awarding five $5,000 scholarships to seniors interested in the science or engineering fields. Log on to www.denverfoundation.org for an application. Deadline is April 4th.

• Colorado Northwestern Community College is hosting is Scholarship Days on March 24. See Paula Duzik at the high school for more information. $500 in scholarships will be awarded on that day.

• Colorado First Soil Conservation District is offering one $250 scholarship to a senior pursuing a degree in agriculture or natural resources. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is May 1.

• The Doak Walker Memorial Foundation is offering two $1500 scholarships to seniors who have participated in high school sports. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is May 1.

• The Moffat County Education Association and Moffat County School Board is offering one scholarship to an outstanding senior. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 29.

• The Yampa Valley Golf Course is offering the Jim Severson Memorial Scholarship to seniors. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is March 31.

• Moffat County Grand Futures, SAPP and Glen P Sherman are offering three $1000 scholarships to seniors. See Paula Duzik at the high school for an application. Deadline is April 18.
