Editorial board seeking members

The Craig Daily Press is seeking three to four people to participate on its next editorial board, which begins April 7.
Editorial board members meet from noon to 1 p.m. Mondays to discuss the paper’s opinion piece for the following Wednesday and Saturday papers. Editorial board terms are for three months.

Electronic devices prohibited at MCHS
Moffat County High School students are reminded that beginning Monday all electronic devices, including cell phones and iPods, will be prohibited from use during the academic day.
Electronic device use will be allowed before the first bell at 8:05 a.m. and after the last bell at 3:15 p.m.
Additionally, students may use electronic devices during their own lunchtime on the first floor commons.
No use will be allowed on the second floor commons or hallways during the school day. Failure to follow these procedures will result in confiscation.
Free HIV, STD testing available
Free, confidential, rapid HIV and sexually transmitted disease testing and counseling will be available free of charge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 17 and 31 at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, 745 Russell St. Each screening takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
No appointments are necessary, and all screenings are confidential.
Those who should be tested for HIV and other STDs include anyone who can answer “Yes,” to any of the following questions, according to a news release.
• “Are you in a new relationship?”
• “Do you think you are at risk for a sexually transmitted disease?”
• “Do you have more than one sexual partner?”
• “Have you had sex with a man or woman who has had other partners?”
• “Have you shared injection drug needles for any reason, or had sex with someone who has?”
• “Have you had unprotected sex?”
Easter service taking place in Hayden
Hayden Congregational United Church of Christ, 202 E. Jefferson Ave., is sponsoring special services to remember and celebrate the events of Holy Week and Easter.
On Thursday, March 20, Maundy Thursday “Tennebrae” service is at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
On Easter Sunday, March 23, sunrise service is at 6:45 a.m. on the back porch of the Haven, 300 S. Shelton Lane, followed by a community breakfast in the Parish Hall at the church prepared and served by HCC youth.
Regular Easter service is at 10:30 a.m. will be followed by a children’s Easter egg hunt on the east lawn or in the Parish Hall depending on the weather.
