Paul Bishop: Bible should be taught as elective

To the editor:
Sir, regarding the teaching of the Bible in high school, I think it should be allowed as an elective course.
I'm sure there would be a citizen from Craig that would be willing to take this on. Every Sunday there is a volunteer that teachers the Bible to inmates at the Moffat County Jail. What a great contribution this is.
Please note that I said teach the Bible, not teaching religion.
