Girls basketball plays in ‘Sweet 16’ on Friday

The Moffat County girls basketball team will compete Friday in the “Sweet 16” round of the state 4A playoffs against Greeley West. Game time is 7 p.m.
With a victory against the Spartans, the Bulldogs will face the winner of Silver Creek vs. Pueblo West on Saturday in the “Great 8.”
Moffat County is the No. 2 seed in the Lou Piel Region. Silver Creek is No.1; Greeley West, No. 3; and Pueblo West, No. 5.
The Bulldogs are the home team against the Spartans on Friday.
If Moffat County wins and plays Silver Creek on Saturday, the Bulldogs will be the visiting team. If Silver Creek loses to Pueblo West, Moffat County will be the home team against the Cyclones.
