The State Historical Fund is scheduled to host a free workshop on funding historic preservation projects at 10 a.m. July 21 in the basement of the Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave. The focus of the workshops is to help people better understand the State Historical Fund’s grants program. Workshop topics will include planning a State Historical Fund project and eligibility requirements for applicants and projects. Space is limited, and prior registration is suggested. No residential trash service Friday

The city of Craig solid waste department is not providing residential trash service on the Fourth of July. To accommodate residential customers during the week, trash service will be as follows:

• Monday through Wednesday trash will be picked up on its regular trash schedule.

• Friday’s trash will be picked up Thursday.
