— Today

9 to 11 a.m. Yampa Valley Baptist Church hosts vacation Bible school, "Jerusalem in the Time of Christ," for ages 4 through 12. Mothers and caregivers are also welcome. Call 824-5424 or 826-1899. Rides also are available.

6 p.m. Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab and the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association's Aging Well Program host "University Night" at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab, 943 W. Eighth Dr., in the main dining room. The guest speaker will be Billy Castle, attorney at law specializing in Medicaid and Medicare issues. Dinner will be served.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare is provided. Latecomers welcome. Call Caroline 620-0659.

8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Bear Valley Child Learning Center hosts a Parents Night Out at the center, 780 Yampa Ave. The event is a fundraiser for equipment and supplies. Cost is $5 per hour or $30 for the night. The event is open to the public. Call 824-9239.

Saturday, June 28

2 p.m. Sandrock Ridge hosts a monthly support group for families dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia. Family members, caregivers and friends are encouraged to attend. Call Tracey Behrman at 826-4100.

6:30 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County's inaugural Bone Appetit Barbecue Dinner/Dance begins at the OP Bar and Grill, 534 E. Victory Way. Tickets cost $30 a person, $55 a couple and can be purchased from the OP Bar and Grill and Humane Society members. The event is a fundraiser for animal needs in Moffat County. 7 to 11 p.m. The Pigs on Parade Craig Relay For Life team hosts a bowling fundraiser at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center. Registration forms are available at Thunder Rolls and at the Public Safety Center. Call Charlene at 826-2306 or Nancy at 824-4495.

8 to 9:15 p.m. Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous' open meeting is at 50 S. Ranney St. Call 888-333-9649.
