- Becky Bennett and Tanner Copeland, of Loveland, announce the birth of their son, Collin Brock Copeland. He was born at 7:03 p.m. June 9 at the Estes Park Hospital. The baby weighted 9 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was welcomed home by his parents and 17-month-old sister, Kennedi Rebecca. His maternal grandparents are Bill Bennett, of Hayden, and Theresa and Mark Sullivan, of Craig. Great grandparents are Andy and Ann Bennett, of Hayden, and Helen Buck, of Denver. His paternal grandparents are Kevin and Ann Copeland, of Hayden, great grandparents are Ted and Judy Copeland, of Hayden, Wes and Linda Signs, of Hayden, and Pat Holderness, of Hayden.
- Lexi Roberts and Danny Carr, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Haven Jaymes Roberts-Carr, at 9 p.m. June 9 at Yampa Valley Medical Center. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Coreen LeBlanc of Grand Junction, Matt and Renee Roberts, of Denver, and Rocky and Christine Carr, of Maybell. Great grandparents are John and Jodi Pogline of Craig, Mary Beth Carr, of Maybell, and Ron and Lois Stoffle, of Maybell. Great great grandparents are Joyce and Calvin LeBlanc, of Delta.

I would like to say on behalf of everyone who went on the 2008 We See D.C. trip, thank you to everyone who got our trip together. Starting with School Tours of America for allowing us to go to Washington, D.C. Secondly, I’d like to thank Mrs. Jenison for arranging everything for us, starting with getting us non-stop plane flights from Denver to Baltimore and back, as well as getting us tickets to many of Washington D.C.’s attractions. I’d also like to thank the chaperones who went along with us.
