According to the calendar, summer officially arrives June 20. Hopefully, winter will listen and we can truly say it’s summertime and the fish are awaiting, along with picnics galore and time for some getting out and gettin’ ’er done.
Also getting done are birthdays for Helen Conner, Roy Southard, Jean Muhme, Reba Wilson, Gordon Tiltson and Tanya Bohrer.
Speedy recovery/get well wishes to Donna Ward, Butch Wilczek and John Jacobs.
An AARP meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. June 23 at Sunset Meadows I.
The Sunset Meadows I potluck is scheduled for noon Friday. Come on over and bring a friend.
Eloise Waters had visitors during the weekend and so did Elberta Cochran. Elberta had her daughters and granddaughter visit from Indiana, Calif.
