10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Northwest Colorado Home school Association is combining a BBQ, Book Fair, and elections with its annual Field Day. Participants should bring a box of books/curriculum they would like to sell with their name on the box, their own plates, silverware and drinks for their family along with a side dish to share. Cost is free for members. Cost is $1 for a hamburger and 50 cents for nonmembers.
6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups, in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare is provided. Latecomers welcome. Call Caroline 620-0659.

8 a.m. Curvaceous Babes, a Relay for Life fundraising group, hosts a yard sale at 807 W. Sixth St. Call Jana Rowe at 824-3971.
Pyromaniacs, a Relay for Life fundraising group, hosts a yard and bake sale at Hair-tage Salon at 410 Russell St. Call Valerie Kamzalow at 629-2792.
8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Huck Finn Fun Day takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park. The event is open to children ages 1 to 15 years old; children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Call Johnny Garcia at 620-4120.
9 a.m. Hayden’s Annual Huck Finn Fishing Day takes place at Hayden Town Park. Prizes are given for first trout caught, largest and smallest trout. Participants may dress up for the Huck Finn/Becky Thatcher look-a-like contest. Fishing poles provided by Division of Wildlife and a barbecue sponsored by Hayden Parks and Recreation follows.
