Age: 42

Occupation: Teacher at Ridgeview Elementary School, part-time jelly maker

Place of birth: Denver

When did you move to Moffat County and what brought you here?

We moved here in 1994 for my husband's job, and because we wanted to raise a family in a small town.

What are three things you can't live without?

My family, my two best friends and my kitchen

If you could be any kind of animal or plant, what would it be?

I'd be a magnolia tree so that I could grow beautiful flowers

If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you serve?

President Bush, Barack Obama, John McCain and Emeril Lagasse. We could have a lively political discussion and eat whatever Emeril wanted to cook.

What band or performer would you stand in line to get tickets for?

Garth Brooks, because I've never seen him perform in person and his concerts always look like fun on TV

What is your greatest fear?

Losing my children

What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love?

Old movies with Esther Williams or Judy Garland. They're the only kind of movies on my Netflix queue.

What would you do if you won $10 million?

I'd pay all my bills, give some to charity and then fly to New York to see "Emeril Live."

If you could live in any other country in the world, what would it be and why?

Canada, just because it seems the most like America.
