Craig 8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.
11 a.m. The Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries is scheduled to host its weekly story-time at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. A local knitting and crocheting 4-H group will give a demonstration at the event. For more information, call 824-5116.
3 to 6 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County will hold public voting for the 2009 Pet Mates Calendar contest during the Farmers Market in Alice Pleasant Park on Yampa Avenue. Photos of 24 finalists will be on display and 12 winners will be chosen after the end of the month. Call 870-7500 for more information.
3 to 6 p.m. Sweet cherries and apricots are available at the Downtown Business Association's Farmer's Market in Alice Pleasant Park. Call 824-5343.
6 p.m. The Yampa Valley Landlord's Association hosts its annual barbecue at the Columbine apartments swimming pool, 655 Wicks Ave. Call John Barr at 824-7120.

10 a.m. Dalton Reed, of Clark, will demonstrate blacksmithing techniques as he fashions tools, tomahawks and other items at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call the museum at 824-6346 for more information.
4 to 8 p.m. The Relay for Life silent auction will begin at the Moffat County High School track. Winning bidders for the donated materials will be announced immediately afterwards. For more information, call Shannon Samuelson at 701-9011.
6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care are provided. Late comers welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.
Saturday, July 19
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Hayden Marketplace sponsors a free Farmers Market on Walnut Street in Hayden. It is open to all Yampa Valley residents. There is no space rent. Call Hayden Marketplace at 276-2019 for information and to reserve a spot.
