The Golden Cavvy Restaurant and Lounge saw a great deal of customers Friday morning. For more than three hours, the eatery was packed with customers, many of whom were eating out because of a power outage.

The recent “Bone Appetite” fundraiser was held to benefit the work of the Humane Society of Moffat County, not the City of Craig Animal Shelter. The Humane Society of Moffat County, a nonprofit public charity, helps the animal shelter find second chances for animals that have run out of time for adoption in Craig. However, the Humane Society of Moffat County and the City of Craig Animal Shelter are two separate entities.
