Craig — The year has gotten off to a record snowfall in many places. We, too, have gotten lots of snow.

Reminds me of my younger days, living up in Tiger in Summit County, a good old ghost town. It snowed until May or June sometimes. Now we will see what Mr. Groundhog predicts this coming Saturday.

For sure, we have birthdays to mention.

Happy birthday to Jane Glanville, Janette Harris, Elmer Jones and Norma Gilroy. Get well/speedy recovery to Mari Cisar, Lynn Watson, Dan Brauch and Rose Guiterrez.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars senior dinner is 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. Sunset Meadows potluck is noon Friday. Bingo will follow. Come join us, and bring a friend or two.
