Tuesday, Jan. 29

6:30 to 8:15 p.m. “Pulse” Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.

7 p.m. Auditions for the Black Mountain Theatre’s production of “Land of Northern Mystery” is in the Craig Middle School Auditorium. The play is part of Craig’s Centennial Celebration. Call Cindy at 824-6002 or go to www.blackmountaintheatre.org.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. The club is for all ages. Call 824-6424.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aging Well Program’s “Wellness Wednesdays” is at the American Legion Building in Craig for adults “50 and Better.” Activities include art, writing and exercise classes. This week’s lunchtime presentation is “More About Alzheimer’s and How to Maintain Your Brain,” with Donna Hackley, Program Evaluation and Special Projects Coordinator for Aging Well and Volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado. Thursday, Jan. 31

10 and 11:30 a.m. The Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries hosts story time at the library, 570 Green St. This week’s theme is jungle animals.

6 to 7:30 p.m. The seventh annual Free Family Literature Carnival is at Moffat County High School, by the main entrance. There will be games involving reading, writing and math, as well as prizes. The event is for children preschool to sixth grade, who must be accompanied by an adult. Books can brought and traded.

Friday, Feb. 1

12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Northwest Colorado Homeschool Association PE classes at the Boys and Girls Club. For more information contact Michelle at 620-0283.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care is provided. Latecomers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659 for more information.

Saturday, Feb. 2

A Soldiers’ Snowmobile Ride is scheduled for the Craig area. The ride, which is a salute to veterans, is free for military personnel and their spouses. Call Stan at 970-326-7160.
