Steamboat to Hayden stretch reopened

Officials have re-opened U.S. Highway 40 from Steamboat Springs to Craig. U.S. 40 remains closed from Steamboat Springs east to Kremmling, and the Eisenhower Tunnel on Interstate 70 also is closed to traffic.

Citizens Police Academy to start

The Craig Police Department currently is accepting applications for the next Citizens Police Academy. The anticipated start date is Feb. 28. The academy will take place one night a week for about 11 weeks. Applications may be picked up at the Police Department counter in the Moffat County Public Safety Center.
